Anybody who knows me knows I play Big Red in literally every format I can. Modern, Legacy, Commander, I'm even trying it in Pauper. It should come as no surprise that I'm doing it in Brawl. This is leaning more into "historic matters" with artifacts, but the deck still holds true to the core ideas of Big Red: Ramp out, play giant creatures, and make sure your opponent doesn't get to have any fun.
This deck is certainly more casual than other 1 vs 1 decks. However, it really is just an amalgamation of cards that I love. Sure Blood Sun isn't amazing in the format, but I love it and want to play it. Chandra isn't the best commander, but she's my favorite planeswalker card ever printed, how could I not run her? The deck is so much fun to play, I think I might keep it post-rotation and see if people will still play against it. If you're looking for other mono red decks, I suggest looking at 3drink's thread on Kari Zev, Skyship Raider and darrenhabib's primer on Hazoret, the Fervant aggro. This is more of a space for sharing different takes on Chandra than anything else. Thoughts on the above list and other lists are welcome!

You should probably replace the rest of the deck with copies of Fateful Showdown since that Iso guy signed the one you have, and it's great to have more things reminiscent of Iso.

Great! It's a little slower than most red Brawl decks but when it turns the corner it turns into a powerhouse. Also having one of the best planeswalkers ever printed (I'm not biased I swear) is unbelievably strong.
