I really love that the new Teysa doubles up death triggers and gives tokens vigilance and life link, only problem is I don't know if I'm capitalizing on it enough. I wanted to go with a token stratagy blended with an aristocrats strategy but I feel like mixing the two doesn't work very well even though thats what it looks like Teysa Karlov is wanting to do. Anyway I think I have built a pretty nice little deck here, though the mana base is probably off...might need to swap some swamps out for some plains...

Sorry it took so long to update, been pretty bussy lately, but I finally got the changes made and moved the old deck list into a spoiler.

I started my list with a more aristocrats build and quickly moved away from it. I think she can do better than just trying to spam and sac tokens. You can check out my list in my sig below, but for yours I think trying to cut down on the token production for more hard hitting things would be best.

Dictate of Erebos should be here. Butcher of Malakir is decent. I like him but he is high on the cost so I can see skipping him. I don't really think Akroma's Memorial is necessary. I might suggest going a little higher on the creature count and focus more on her "dies trigger" interaction more so than the token side of things.

As you play the deck more, I would be curious what your thoughts are on wraths. I see you have 3 wraths but one is Merciless Eviction which I would never play in this deck unless you expect to exile anything other than creatures. I have actually been considering going down a wrath in my deck (I guess I have 3 but one is Living Death so it is not exactly a wrath) as I have not felt that wraths are that important if you can get Grave Pact/Dictate online to keep your opponents off their creatures.

I have the merciless eviction mainly because at my locals enchantment and artifact based decks (mainly artifacts) are really common and this is one of the few ways to deal with that on a massive scale (which is very necessary in most cases). I skipped dictate of erebos mainly because I grave pact was enough, but i'll probably swap it in and take out akroma's memorial. I feel like the deck is kind of slow at bringing a huge field of creatures out which is why I think having 3 wraths are important for the deck, granted eviction is mostly for artifacts/enchantments).

I would also like to note I haven't built the deck yet, I'm looking at building it but before I spend the money on it I want to get the build decided first.

I feel like your version takes more of a reanimator rout that uses dies triggers as an engine which is also good, but not really what I'm looking to do. I'm more or less looking to capitolize on both aspects of Teysa Karlov. You are right that I'm probably a bit light on creatures though. I don't particularly like archon of justice and ashen rider because they have such a high cmc though even though they do have great effects when they die.

I can agree on the Ashen Rider (I just happen to like the card) but Archon is right in the middle. Especially for a deck that is trying to go more into the aristocrat build where you should have a bunch of sac outlets, I think it is an important piece to deal with a variety of threats. Plus being a 4/4 flyer is often relevant.

I like Secure the Wastes for your build (which I see you have) but I have always had a soft spot for White Sun's Zenith. An army of cats that lets you attack to gain life and then block to gain life (with Teysa out of course) seems like it could be game changing. Field of Souls doesn't seem that great if you are going more the token route and, even without the token route, I think it can be better.

I think Anointed Processing and Divine Visitation are fine but I would actually almost prefer Cathars' Crusade over the Visitation. Your dudes can't fly with just Crusade, but they should be a lot bigger than 4/4. If you do want to stick with DV, maybe slower token generators could work? Mobilization for example. Though, it might be a bit too slow and not as useful with either DV or AP. Luminarch Ascension is probably the best for this anyway. If you find you are gaining enough life, Resplendent Angel might give you a few more tokens to play around with.

Cleansing Nova has been good for me and I like it over Eviction since it can hit both Artifacts and Enchantments. The flexibility of Eviction can sometimes be beneficial so as not to get rid of your stuff in the process if you don't need to. I certainly don't want to say Eviction is wrong as it can be the right card.

Since you are running both Plaguecrafter and Merciless Executioner, why no Fleshbag Marauder?

I kind of forgot about fleshbag marauder to be honest lol.

I like white sun zenith as well, but the 3W is offputting and there are better mana sinks like torment of hailfire for this deck. I'll probably add in the archon of justice as well along with the fleshbag maurader. I'm on the fence as far as Cathar's Crusade goes, yeah it makes everything bigger, but an army of 4/4 flying, lifelink, vigiliance angels is still really good, and honestly I don't really have room for an additional 5 drop white enchantment as its going to be hard enough to swap in the fleshbag and archon. I'm thinking I could swap wrath of god out for cleansing nova though.

Granted I'm not sure how I feel about field of souls either and if I did put in cathar's crusade it would probably be replacing this since its just a 1 mana difference.
