Deck History and Summary:
I always enjoyed having a wide range of play styles and power levels and since i "only" had Prossh, Skyraider of Kher as a top tier deck i felt like i need another one that's vastly different though. Edric, Spymaster of Trest is a lot quicker but less sturdy and comes as (U/G), a color combination i didn't have a deck with yet. While i went for the common Flying Men build i chose not to run Extra Turn cards other than Notorious Throng to keep it at least somewhat entertaining for my opponents.
Best case scenario: 1 drop on turn 1, two 1 drops on turn 2, Edric, Spymaster of Trest on turn 3, draw 3 off him and take it from there. So nothing unusual about it.
Let me know what you think of the deck! I'm always happy to get input.
I like it. I also have an Edric deck with Notorious Throng as the only possible extra turn since it's usually a game-ender. Cryptolith Rite instead of Earthcraft, though, but also some goodies like Spitting Image — always fun with the weenies when somebody brings a Thunderfoot Baloth to the table. I was also trying to keep the control elements more casual and defensive in order to meet my group's power level and am going to try replacing Throng with an Overrun effect of some sort.

Thx for the input, Lyon!
Glad to see you're keeping an eye on the power balance of your meta. With a commander like this one it's otherwise easy to crush unprepared opponents. Sitting at 13 decks right now i can always adjust by swapping decks, which allows me to build this particular one as cutthroat as possible - without a full extra turn suite, because i don't want to play with myself in front of others. Notorious Throng is an exception, but the main reason i'm running it is the mass of evasive tokens it can create. Anyhow, it's clearly the very top of my power scale.
Glad to see Zada, Hedron Grinder in your signature as well. I have an ungodly love for this hilarious glass cannon. Just last Sat i amassed 6 digit numbers of damage... Would love to take a look at your take and/or see you evaluate mine.

Not a fan of CMC 2 or more creatures without flash, so more of them had to go. The rest simply got cut for upgrades.
