Binxy's map led him to a rather run down area of the warrens. As he headed west he approached the area of the city where the outer wall would be if it extended on to the southern areas. The streets were relatively empty, a couple of people darting quickly from place to place were the only people to be found. A cart was making its way down the dirt road, apparently propelled by force magics.
**Binxy kept to the shadows, his dagger drawn. He knew to listen for the whistling sound made by a moving Reaver, but having his blade out to check for hostile focus couldn't hurt. After all, things were going to get incredibly hostile soon enough.**
Binxy couldn't hear anything yet besides the sounds of the few footfalls and the creaking of the autonomous cart. Casting an eye to the dirt road to reveal that there were fewer tracks than normal owing to the lessened activity.
Eventually he came across some clawed marks that could only belong to his quarry. They led south, moving back and forth across the road, occasionally circling around doors and alleyways.
**Frowning to himself, Binxy began following the tracks. He made a point to check to any doors that seemed like they might have been forced open, but knew that his nose would alert him to one of the surest signs of Reaver activity: the tang of blood. It was a scent Binxy was all-too familiar with.**
He came a across a couple of doors that looked like they'd been damaged, additional tracks and scuffing in the dirt near them. The first sign of successful entry came in the form of a broken window, the tracks seeming to end there.
**Binxy nodded to himself, flexing his fingers experimentally. This could be the place.
The jakari checked the scimitar strapped to his back, frowning at the weight. Stupid honey kissin' thing had better be worth the burden. He deftly slipped through the window, keeping himself crouched in the darkness as he peered out into the room.**
The inside was unsurprisingly cramped, with what little furniture it had tossed about the place and half destroyed. In one corner of the small place was a pile of broken wood underneath what once must have been a ladder, leading up to a trapdoor in the ceiling. There was another, smaller, broken window in the back.
**Keeping an eye on the gem of his dagger, Binxy continued his hunt. There wasn't much evidence of the reaver having gotten up to much. So, either Binxy would catch him before he could cause too much damage, or something awful was happening. Either way.**
**As Binxy neared the corner, he pulled around the stupid scimitar he'd been suckered into bringing with him. If this honey kissin' thing didn't pull its weight, he was going to go back and re-explode that mage's head.
Hoping to draw out an attack from the windreaver's deadly tongue, Binxy send a large alley crate smashing out into the open street to the south.**
It seemed Binxy had misjudged what he heard. A moment after Binxy kicked the crate out into the street it was barreled into and over by a mounted rider. The horse crumpled over the obstacle and skidded to a halt on the other side, legs flailing wildly. The rider was thrown off towards Binxy.
The rider, a terrified looking teenager with slicked back hair wearing a rather fine suit and a tattered coat, crashed into Binxy like a bag of meat. Binxy's strength stopped them from crashing into the ground together but they still stumbled back a fair bit.
Binxy - "I know, damn your eyes; get back against the wall and try harder at not dyin'!"
**The jakari snatched up the sword, quickly moving forward to the edge of the alleyway as he tensely watched the downed horse. Better it than the rest of us, poor bastard.**
Binxy spotted it out of the corner of his eye, rushing down the dirt road. Its speed was almost unbelievable, a hunched form of red stone hurtling towards the downed horse. The howling noise was so loud now it was uncomfortable.
**Binxy's hands twisted as he tightened his grip around the Cutting-Grass Blade, his teeth gritted as he shifted his stance. That tongue was going to come out soon, and that was going to be his chance.**
The windreaver skidded to a halt on the opposite side of the horse to Binxy, lining itself up with the injured animal's head. After a tense moment, its twin barbed tongues lashed out at the horse's neck.
**To his actual surprise, Binxy found himself hurtling forward with such speed that small fires smolders where he had stood, practically teleporting past the windreaver as his scimitar lashed out to slice into the monster's wicked tounge.**
The howl that came out of the creature chilled Binxy to his core. One of the reaver's tongues fell to the floor as the creature began to thrash about wildly. Binxy's dagger could have been used as a torch the way it glowed now.
And it was quiet.

The reaver's howl grew louder.
The jakari dropped his sword, throwing his arms out and trusting he was strong enough to break the man's tumbling without seriously harming himself.**
Boy- There's a w-w-w-...
