**In a stone and steel walled off corner of the arena, two men face off.

Alphonsine stood at one end

Minuano at the other

A gong echoes throughout the coliseum.

Alphonsine activates his plate to replace his Helm, Hauberk and Cuirass with the Rimelord and Echoes pieces he had stored, and readies his sword.**

Alphonsine - I chose you because I hoped you'd be interested in a fair match of skill. I hope I was right.

**Unable to adjust for another counterswing fast enough, Alphonsine instead thread released his near hand from the sword and threw it wide as he stepped to aim his chest at Minuano, then used his chestplate to absorb the heat from his blade into a projectile which he launched at the charging warrior's face.**

He'd hoped to finish his battle unaided, the dishonor of the sneak attack on what appeared to be an honorable opponent shaking him.**
