**Outside the Crann, Eastman ushered them into a large carriage which was parked waiting for them, taking the reins himself. The moment the last man had clambered inside the horses began a full gallop, tearing out of Greevan in record time.**
Eastman - "Pardon me for the rush, boys, but I want to make good distance before nightfall."
Alec - "And where are we going, exactly?"
Eastman - "Well, it's a little hard to explain, but lemme see if I can give it to you straight. The elves used to have a very productive mine up in the Alogeans, supplied all of their needs, but a couple hundred years ago they abandoned it. No-one's really sure why anymore, but old tight-ass back there bet it wasn't anything too serious and hired me to track it down... and, well, I believe I did, but hell if I'm gonna explore a mine on my own. So that's where you come in, boys. You're gonna help me certify the mine is safe, and then we get to go back, get our payment, and tell that tightass back there where he can shove it. Sound good to y'all?"

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
Misty - "Wait! I mean, uh, I think we should assume the mines are dangerous until we're done. I've seen too many ghosts that didn't take this sort of thing seriously."
**Elia was more concerned with how Dart would take being inside a mine, as long as she was with him the girl thought it wouldn't be a problem. She looked outside the carriage to check he was still following along with their progress.**
Sly smiled faintly "Not in the slightest, just a bit of good old fashioned sarcasm that... I would be much happier with a mine that was empty besides the piles of gems!"
Gamble - "Just some advice about how the world works. Don't want it to be a haunted mine? Don't make jokes about it being a haunted mine. Don't ever, ever say anything that even might later turn out to have been a terrible irony."
Gamble - "That's a mistake. Plan for things to go bad, but don't joke about it. If you joke about Bad, all it gets you are a couple laughs and a lot of Worse."
**Misty leans back into the corner as she lets the conversation continue without her. She mentally positions herself in front of the hum's door. Talking should help, right?**
Misty - [Link] It's going to be a long trip to the mountains. So, you can talk now, right? Who is it going to be? The gruff woman? The very job-focused one? One of the horses? How do you decide, anyway?
Gamble - "I wouldn't say that. But I am a rogue who's lived past his third decade. You don't get that way without a respect for the weird things Bakara can throw at you. And a knife that cuts ghosts."
"Hmm, well I'll match you for age, but I only recently took up more dangerous work... I've found you can only write so many love songs." He said, but despite of it he took his guitar off of back and began strumming a lovely mournful sounding song.
Christov to Misty(Link) - *I'm a little busy right now, if you're hungry later maybe I'll let you have one of the ones we kill*
Misty - [Link] - What?! How is that... what? Hungry? We're.. okay. *Deep Breath* I don't know how you can be busy, but we aren't killing any of them! Why do you think that? And since when could you feed on dead people?!
**Misty quickly leans against the corner of the wagon and turns her head away from the group. It had suddenly dawned on her that her expressions must look pretty bizarre right now.**
**She visibly shudders from the force. That.. was bizarre. The woman spends awhile deeply contemplating the hum's response before phasing back into her companions' conversation. Hopefully they didn't think she was too weird..**
Misty - "This is a beautiful song, but it's really sad too. Do you know any happy ones?"
Sly looks up with a smile. "All of the greatest love songs are the sad ones, but for you darling for certain." He stops for a moment and then starts in on a happy little tune that made one think of sunshine and spring days.

Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.
