I'm an east coast transplant from Tennessee, and my wife and I just moved to the LA area a few weeks ago for work.
I loved to cube with a group of friends back home, but I know absolutely no one here or anywhere to play.
I used to be into the competitive scene years ago, but I'm more casual now as a magic player. Cube is probably my all time favorite format I've played, and I've tried them all.
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this sort of post, but honestly I'm just hoping someone in the area can point me in the right direction or if any cube drafters in the area are looking for more players.
Hey there, check out the cube map to find cubers near you.
A great place to meet players is your local game store attending events, I'm sure you'll find a few people from LA on this forum as well. I'm in the central coast and am looking to attending some big events, bringing a couple cubes with me too (ones without monetary value).
It's always easy to find a group if you have a cube to play with. Do you have one? If not you can always build a proxy cube.
