Well the original idea of GW was a result of trying to splash green in my Soldier deck for more flexibility that green would give. I quickly realized that the only card worth playing MD would be the Escort. Then I started testing the Eldrazi Green decks and started thinking how good Eldrazi would be in WW soldiers. But then in testing it didn't turn out to well at all. So I combined both ideas into one.
Testing has been going really well.
I don't have the Nissas for Elfdrazi and not sure when I can get them.
1. I love that you included Steward of Valeron. He is very underrated card and it is so wonderful to attack AND give mana. It fits perfectly in this deck. (although I just found out he isn't a Soldier :()
2. I wonder if Honor of the Pure is worth it?
3. Isn't Dauntless Escort kind of redundant?

"I don't know why people say a double-edged sword is bad. It's a sword. With two edges." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter
Ant Queen is a 3 of b/c she will draw fire so you can cast your soldiers and is simply amazing with Eldrazi.
huh, not sure how I missed that. No, not both, you have way too many 5cmc finishers this deck will never work.
your at 14 5cmc+ spells. You need to come to around 5-7
Have you considered Master of the Wild Hunt for this build? Seriously. he looks pretty bad, but my Cruel Allies got rolled HARD by Master + Monument. Plus, free 2/2 wolves every turn isn't that bad...
master of the wild hunt is a good idea. I have been playing around with a mono green token deck based on nissa aggro's concept and master is just something else combined with eldrazi's power...you can consider it as well for a counter to many finishers, and at worst he makes wolves to sacrifice for your monument or is a 3/3 body for 4 to attract removals away from other things you rather want on board, like an ant queen.
I recommend dropping Llanowar Elves for +1 Garruk, +1 Elspeth, +1 Steward of Valeron, and +1 Martial Coup.
I've been going back and forth on the elves. Originally I wanted them to be Birds of Paradise.
I'm changing it up a little bit after testing.
Dauntless Escort is very important. He helps keep your mana dorks alive and is pretty powerful all on his own.
I'm moving Great Sable Stag to the SB too. Its a good card but now that Jund and other red decks use Lightning bolt as the prefered removal its not as relevant.
Well, he spits out 2/2s every turn, can force all the 2/2s into an Arena (except for tapping their creature) with a creature of your choice (AFTER they're declared blockers, if you want), and most importantly, he's a sure-fire way to feed the monument. It makes a lot of sense if you can fit it into your curve; having another theoretically infinite method to generate tokens can't hurt.
Despite all the suggestions, though, I wouldn't fit him in unless he fits your curve nicely. And I don't think Dauntless is redundant; it's another card that drastically improves the average case for the deck. In a nut draw, it's redundant, but what if you draw your first monument turn 7?
Why has no1 posted in so long? I really like this build, although I wouldn't exactly call it soldiers. Anyways, I'm gonna make a version of the deck and post my list in the near future.
I'd cut the 4 of them and back in the 2 Steward of Valeron's and a 4th Path to Exile, as well as either another Captain, Master or Ant Queen.
Another possibility for this deck is Enlisted Wurm, it's a nice solid 5/5 for 6 which provides you a certain amount of advantage and even though it can hit weak stuff like mana dorks, in this deck it's much more likely to hit something strong like a Conqueror's Pledge, Master of the Hunt, Captain of the Watch, Ant Queen, Garruk Wildspeaker, etc. etc.
If you cut the Brave the Element's like I recommend you could use the 4th free'd up slot to include a Enlisted Wurm and by cutting the Conqueror's Pledges and Dauntless Escort's down to 3 each, you could add 3 Enlisted Wurm's to your deck without sacrificing any real consistancy.
I think ant queen is good, because it allows you a better chance of winning without eldrazi. Yes you need mana to make tokens, but you can also make multiple tokens per turn. I have done no testing yet, as none of my testing buddies are awake. But right now I am playing more green creatures with Oran-Rief, the Vastwood to see if it helps at all. If that startegy works, I may or may not drop Conqueror's Pledge. However, I find this hard to do after playing mono white soldiers for so long :D.
@Machius: I almost forgot to mention how much I love the idea of running enlisted wurm in this deck. The thought of cascading into eldrazi monument sounds awesome. Plus, with so many 5cmc in this deck (and no other 6cmc as I don't like the idea of Captain of the Watch in this deck) it is nice to know that not only can you cascade into anything in your deck, but also that it has a good chance of being something big.
Why do people fail to realize that Ant Queen only provides token if you have the mana to support it? This deck is isn't Nissa Eldrazi, Ant Queen has no place. Captain, Master, Pledge, Elspeth are all you need.
The thing is that unlike Captain and Pledge's tokens, Ant Queen will live through the Infest, Volcanic Fallout, Jund Charm etc. that often happen before you get the indestructibility going(or in the case of Infest even afterwards) and still be able to pump out a bunch of tokens. It also is a solid threat in it's own right as a 5/5 for 5(6/6 indestructible flyer with eldrazi). And post eldrazi the ability to pump out a single token in your upkeep to sacrifice to eldrazi is useful.
Yes Ant Queen becomes exponentially better with things like Elvish Archdruid(and a bunch of elves), but even with only 6 mana, a constant stream of 3 tokens a turn is nothing to be sneezed at(particularly on a solid body).

Any suggestions?
Why do you need Nissa?
____
I should have been more clear in the top post. I fixed it so that it more accurately reflects why I said "No Nissa".
Anyone have suggestions on how to make this better?
2. I wonder if Honor of the Pure is worth it?
3. Isn't Dauntless Escort kind of redundant?
Honor seems a little too much with Eldrazi. If I were using rampant growth as opposed to mana-dorks I'd consider it.
Dauntless really fits the curve nicely. Especially when he is played turn 2. Turn 3 swing for 4 with Hierarch is pretty sweet.
Thanks for the comments!
Also, Dauntless + Eldrazi? Indestructible creature is indestructible.
Oh and if you keep all these green tokens, use the vastwood land
How about both?
I'm running both in this deck.
Ant Queen is a 3 of b/c she will draw fire so you can cast your soldiers and is simply amazing with Eldrazi.

Also i just realized your removal is...sideboarded....very odd.

I'm moving Great Sable Stag to the SB too. Its a good card but now that Jund and other red decks use Lightning bolt as the prefered removal its not as relevant.
So here is the adjustment to my list.
Mainboard Changes
-4 Great Sable Stag
+1 Dauntless Escort
+2 Path to Exile (From the SB)
+1 Steward of Valeron <-- This guy is really good
Sideboard Changes
-2 Path to Exile (moved to MD)
+2 Great Sable Stag
Is he that good?
I will test them out tonight.
Actually I have 12 mana dorks.
I could probably cut the Elves for the Master dude.
