The exact mix of creatures and land is still a work in progress due to the changing creatures.
Chromanticore itself just becomes a target if you just plonk it out. It's too powerful to waste just like that so the deck evolved to the point where it became an enchant to be bestowed.
Reaper of the Wilds and Prognostic Sphinx have 5 toughness so they avoid Mizzium Mortars overloaded and can be given hexproof in a crunch. They can be threats by themselves and make the best bestow targets.
I threw in Polukranos just for some board presence and all the mana ramping helps him go monstrous and ping off the opponents creatures.
I wanted the Deadbridge Goliath as Polukranos is legendary but I'm not sure it matters too much.
The original idea with the Progenitor Mimic was to clone up an army of Chromanticores and while fun in theory it's very hard to set that up. I think he'll be coming out.
Courser of Kruphix is great with all the scrylands, see something you like hold off on the scryland That life helps you get set up but of course you never want to wait too long to put your voltron Chromanticore plan into action. The combo action with Urban Evolution is scrumptious
Ruric Thar doesn't need to be in there he is just there because I thought I needed the extra threat to stall the board and he would work with the deck being creature heavy but really he just sits back while I go crazy with Urban Evolution and Courser of Kruphix digging for Chromanticore.
I think this deck has a decent core it just needs to find the right creatures to use in combination with the Chromanticore. Bow of Nylea is there to combo with the Kiora's Follower but I'm not really sure either are needed. The deck is very fast at getting out mana but is very slow to set up as Chromanticore is really the only win condition.
I'm thinking Fated Return might be a good card to serve as the 5th and 6th Chromanticores. You can always use Prognostic Sphinx as a discard engine if you really want to reanimate.
Happy to take on suggestions of how to make this work better. I'm yet to actually hard cast the Chromanticore without the lantern. Seems like I'm stuck with lands that only produce blue and green.
It's very fun once you assemble the tron. You go to 40 life and win just like that
