How does this work exactly? If this is in your graveyard will it's ability put it back into your hand when you play a creature? The rules text doesn't specify very well on the card.

Bring back Transmute as a U/B mechanic and take your mill back to the depths of hell where it came from!
I don't think It is worth 3 mana if it doesn't recur like that. It would hardly be worth it if it did. Will be fun in draft I guess if u/w daxos is a thing.

Are we forgetting UW Heroic? This is what that deck was missing. Favored Hoplite,Battlewise Hoplite, Phalanx Leader, hell, even Artisan of Forms. Copy their best dude, they place something better, bounce the enchantment, throw it back on Artisan and copy the better creature. All while adding two +1 counters and giving it flying. The Ordeals become ridiculously easy to max out. This deck just became explosive. Maybe not tier 1 but probably the best budget deck out there.
It has some janky synergies but is probably too slow for its own good. Hero of Iroas is an auto 4-of in any deck running this, as being able to reuse it for WU instead of WU1 is a huge deal.
I'm going to try it as a 1 or 2 of in UW Heroic alongside Aqueous Form which has a similar role.
I have been testing hero of iroas and this in uw heroic and it's not bad at all. There's another card too. Agoraphobia doubles as creature control and a way to repeatedly trigger heroic.
Cast agoraphobia on your opponents desecration demon, enjoy laughing at the 1/6 demon. If your mana gets high enough you can use agoraphobia to travel around the battlefield making heroic triggers happen.
Agoraphobia also survives supreme verdict and enchantment removal spells if you keep mana open, so it's easy to accumulate them.
I will never play it just based on the grounds that it is one of those Wayne Reynolds chest thrusting cards. Disgusting
There are better token generators like Heliod. You can enchant Heliod so you don't lose the aura to removal or you can just use him to pop out a creature at instant speed to bounce the enchant off.
I like the way this looks for heroic deck, and I also think you could play it in a U/W weenie deck. Play this on one of your creatures, give them flying, and a +1/+1 counter, get in for damage, recast it if you want, and protect the creature with Brave the Elements

I wonder if it's still playable regardless...

Cute but that's a pretty slow interaction. Casual enchantments.deck would be happy to have it though.
