I saw a post somewhere about Relentless Rats so I thought I'd make a deck with them. I might actually build this and take it to a FNM lol. Kindof budget as well.
There the most recent update of the deck, can win turn 5 ;D
You reaaaaaaally want Genesis wave to be in your hand so I reccomend it as a 4 of. Also Duress would be very good to get rid of those counters/ Doj that are an automatic scoop. Other than that it looks as good as it can get
Any sort of sweeper would wreck the deck, despite Genesis Wave going off or not. This deck could use Eldrazi Monument or something like Goblin Bushwhacker.
Oh god, bushwhacker...!

What deck most resembles playing lands and doing stuff? Maze's End?
I'd suggest Birds of Paradise over Overgrown Battlement -- Birds let's you start casting rats a turn earlier, and helps with the difficult color requirements the deck has (GG and BB). Meanwhile, OGB doesn't help with rats at all (even if you get one on T2 AND T3, you STILL can't cast 2 rats on T4 because you don't have 4 black mana available) so they are only good for casting Genesis Wave, and even then only better than birds in multiples (and I think you want a mana source that helps with the main game plan -- Rats -- than one that is only good for one splashy win condition). Lastly, in this deck Birds really outshine Battlement with the fact that they can attack after a Garruk/Stampede/Monument.
If you don't care about budget, you'll definitely want 4x Verdant Catacombs in the mana base to help with hitting the color requirements.
Since your deck really focuses on having a wave, having two Diabolic Tutors may be handy in the list. Just to increase the percentage chance of having one when you need it. Lotus Cobra is also a non-budget option for ramping if you are running fetches. Neat deck, looks like a blast to play.

Birds die to bolt, can't block, things like that. Overgrown Battlement ramps for wave, is a decent blocker. I find it better in this kind of situation. This deck is mainly to have fun with, and whats funnier than waving in 10 rats in 1 turn ;P

And since you're running 14 Rats, you can board them all out and board in something nifty for when they board in the Memoricide, name the rats, and go all, HUH?
Of course, they could have the 'cide maindeck. In which case, you have to play sneaky on the rats until you do the wave. This makes me think the Oracles are not a good idea. Of course, the deck's still awesome, because it has rats in it!
Sadams and Damaja, don't post if you're not going to give constructive criticism. Yes, the deck has weaknesses, and yes some spells will kill it easily. He probably knows that. So, we should improve on it so it's more resilient, no?
Sorry for the rant. But I think you need some removal. Doom Blade or Grasp of Darkness comes to mind. I'd remove the Oracles for removal, because IF they have memoricide and see even one RR, they'll get rid of 'em all. Plus, the removal will help against early aggro.
I personally think a transformative sb from 15 rats is rather ingenious towards beating the sb game. I think Rat Nixilis belongs as a 3 of in that SB.
and duress is the best removal you can ask for. considering the deck is tribal...
...
...you're better off sticking with cards that support the tribe. Namely Monu.
Lily recurring an army of rodents seems rather nice anyway even if she's not used for a tutor. 2 of for her MD also if possible. I feel you should up the creature count a bit honestly though. like to 19.
For hilarity: Make the other 12 creatures in the SB One/two of's. Add an element of grief when memoricide only gets 1-2 rats and he still has to worry about 10+ other threats.

~Intelligence is Bliss; Ignorance is Denial.
Skill is an ability that relates more so to the type of deck that's built and how said player pilots it. It also relates to the ability to assess the board and use the cards available to you in the most optimal way relative to each situation.
When a deck is filled with above par cards and every play is solid, there comes a diminishing need to "think" for the lack of wanting to use a better word.
with ob nixilis a transformative sideboard is unnecessary. if somebody shoots off your rats with memoricide, a genesis wave will almost always guarantee a win.
in regards to liliana i think putting an ob nixilis on the top of the deck just before a genesis wave could potentially be pretty awesome.

As long as you have the Genesis Wave in hand when they cast memoricide. If not, you'll be looking at probable land flood. There'll be that game every now and then when you happen to still curve out and then yes, you're just casting major bombs because all the early game stuff in your deck has been removed, but most of the time you'll see too much land and too little gas to win at that point.
