Clan : Sultai
Khan : Sidisisecond picture
Color : Black as main, Blue and Green as off
Theme : Resource manipulationDelve is their confirmed mechanic.
Race : Humans, Naga, Rakasha(classified as "demon cat" or just "demon" on card), The masked guy(not confirmed to be one of the demon cat), Zombie...
Edit 1 : Corrected race for the revealed information. Edit 2 : Added Delve in their theme/mechanic.
------------------------------
First, I want to point at those picture. We can see snake-like creature that are mostly not Gorgon. After a quick search, they look like Coiling Oracle. I expect to see more Snake Warrior in Sultai and their Khan(Sitisi) could be a Snake Shaman. Also, in the group picture, we can se a Masked Warrior, between the Snake and the Women. I believe it is a Viashino, kind to Mindclaw Shaman. I realise that Viashino are typically red color creature and Sultai is BUG, but I couldn't think of any other creature that one could be.
Next I want to discuss the Resource Manipulation theme. This couldn't be less informative. I mean, BUG color is all about using every Resource at their disposition. Black life payment and graveyard. Blue draw and controlling opponent permanent. Green mana acceleration and life gain. But since Black is the focus color, we might have a heavy life is your resource mechanic (balanced with life gain) or a graveyard centric selfmill with reanimation.
Wish list card :
1cc or 2cc Black Shaman with Tap, pay 1 life: Add 1 mana of any color to your manapool.
BU instant with additional cost Pay 2 or 3 life - Draw 1 or 2 card and Opponent discard 1 or 2 card.
BG creature that get +1/+1 until end of turn each time you pay life.
BUG instant or sorcery with - Sacrifice a creature. Gain life equal to it's toughness and draw card equal to it's power.
BUG planeswalker... I can dream
So, I invite you to discuss/speculate Sultai mechanic. Try to create some card that could fit with them. Have fun!
************** Anyone can explain me how to resize image in a post? *****************
I'm sure that there are Humans and Zombies. Skeletons unlikely.
Viashino have reptile faces, so no.
Their queen is a Naga, I suppose there are more of them. (yep, it's a bald queen, lol)
There's also a demon-cat called Rakasha, though it looks more like a demon rather than a cat.
My wishlist is morphing with using life to morph, converting life to mana early game and mana to life late game. Would be nice to see Sorin, Vraska or Ashiok too. Or a new planeswalker.

I really hope that the Sultai clan will have some kind of graveyard mechanic or creatures that get stronger when something hit the graveyard plus a reward if something does
I don't really see how poison would work as a resource mechanic. Thinking on it, I'm guessing the new Jace from 2015 will be useful with whatever the Sultai mechanic is, it'd explain his + ability. I don't think it really gives any hints even if it's accurate beyond "something with the graveyard" which is kind of expected anyways.
Regeneration was stated as a mechanic that needed tweaking. I don't know about a new mechanic but I expect one of the BG clans to have some creatures that are able to regenerate. Personally it would be cool to see Exile N creature cards from graveyard, regenerate this creature.
It all depends on what resources they are manipulating.... Library? Hand? Yard? Lands? Creatures? Life? Resource manipulations is a rather vague term for a game based on resource management....
Also.... i will be extremely surprised if they don't reprint coiling oracle.... Damia, Sage of Stone would also be cool to see....
Both of these seem unlikely as elves and gorgons do no appear to be Tarkirian races.

As humans, we have a tendency to cling to ideologies. Any positive set of beliefs can quickly turn malevolent once treated as ideology and not an honest intellectual or experiential pursuit of greater truth. Ideology does in entire economic systems and countries, causes religions to massacre thousands, turns human rights movements into authoritarian sects and makes fools out of humanity’s most brilliant minds. Einstein famously wasted the second half of his career trying to calculate a cosmological constant that didn’t exist because “God doesn’t play dice.”
It all depends on what resources they are manipulating.... Library? Hand? Yard? Lands? Creatures? Life? Resource manipulations is a rather vague term for a game based on resource management....
I'm thinking it'll be graveyard. It's not a consistent thing, but in those colors it seems like what it'll do. That and their theme seems to involve a lot of necromancy, which also points at graveyard stuff.

As a friend of mine pointed out in the larger image, you can see that its eyes are slitted, and teeth are pointed with prominent canines. Plus, the helm is very much in the style of the only other picture of a Raksha we have at the moment.
As far as the mechanic, I think Delve is a likely possibility, though I'll admit it's a bit of a long shot. That said, MaRo's said that Delve is most likely to come back in a set without a graveyard focus, since it doesn't play nicely with a graveyard set, but could easily make it as one of several clan mechanics.

And I'd really like Delve. Just sideboard out some of your Delve guys for game 2, if you are afraid of Tormud's Crypt. It is always hilarious to see people with dead sideboarded cards. Add Thoughtseize into the equation, and you'll have a pretty frustrated opponent, provided the match wasn't poort to start with.
I'm hoping the raksasha are badass cat demon dudes with a kind of refined and vicious ruthlessness and power hungry that puts Innistrad demons to shame, in both blue and black, offer some good story and lore stuff, and have some powerful cards based around them that this clan uses, including stuff involving shapeshifting, mind-reading, necromancy, and various forms of 'dark' sorcery and cruel trickery.
I hope they get some potent abilities as non-flying demon-ish things that aren't as likely to have high PT, so giving them more powerful abilities to make up for the lack of that while still having high CMC, basically making them potent utility demon things. Some of the smaller ones should be more of warriors of course.
I hope there are enough nagas and maybe a lord or two effect for them to support snake tribal.
I hope there is some strong removal in black connected to this tribe.
I hope this tribe has some decent recursive undead creatures.
I'm hoping we'll see a reprint of good old Coiling Oracle. It is a great card but not OP and works wonderfully with scry lands. What do you guys think? Is he due for a reprint within the Sultai ranks?
Unlikely. The Oracle is not a "naga", he is a Simic mutated elf, and there are no elves in Tarkir (as far as we know).
Gorgon is more greek related then the naga, so seeing gorgons are less likely. Elves do appear to be absent as do leonin. (yay dog people).
It appears though the huge variety of races are a very good thing, will expand Magic's races a lot and some may even gain some support.
I find it odd how the Sultai faction is apparantly better at necromancy than the Abzan Houses. Unless Sultai is Zombies and Abzan is Spirits/Skeletons?
Abzan's main color is White, Sultai's main color is Black.

Thats true, but if you look at all options for Abzan-coloured Commanders, outside of Takir, at least 90% of them are Necromancy-based.
Exactly. Outside of Tarkir.
Look at all the WUB legends before Shards, how many of them cared about artifacts? None. And talking about artifacts, before New Phyrexia would anyone guess we'd get a BG commander that cares about recurring artifacts?
Since the whole thing is a time travel story, with Large-Small-Large structure, it is possible that in the final set in the block the center of each guild changes back to the "enemy color" and then Abzan becomes the graveyard themed group and Sultai changes to a Green creature focus.
So life for cards, creatures for life, cards for creatures.
putrid leech reprint seems plausible and fits the theme.
Sultai is black focused so necromancy is likely even though it is a Black/white ability. But it maybe more like green black using the grave for advantages rather than reanimation.
New revealed art of the Cat Demon. I am starting to think that those "horn" aren't part of their helm. It might really be part of their body to distinguish them from leoni. They are demon after all so why couldn't they have horn?
My gut is telling me the mechanic is going to be something graveyard based. Maybe because the art reminds me so much of the Golgari (for obvious reasons). On a related note, I am loving the art for this set. But I said the same thing about Theros this time last year, and we all know how that turned out...

Morph will probably be big in this and the RUG clans....
My biggest wish is a U/G legendary in the vein of Momir Vig, Simic Visionary.... something that dosent deal with Counters and is more interesting than infinite everything.... Edric IS interesting, but they can do better than "Deal deal damage, recieve cards"....

It's hosed pretty hard by Tormod's Crypt and the like.
I'd much prefer Transmute or Transfigure.

Only 50% of them are about Necromancy.
