All of the cluestones have a circle in the center with a pattern in the middle. There are only 5 patterns and the pairs with the same pattern share at least one color. Could this have to do with the "randomly assigned" second guild pack at the prerelease?
To me it looks like-
azorious+orzhov
dimir+simic
are definite and the rest are close
boros+selesnya
gruul+golgari
rakdos+izzet
Fun fact at the pre-release there are guild packs right?
Each guild pack will contain 4 of each the other colors. so like
I walk in to my LGS and I pay for my entry I say "Dimir" as my color. The host wil reach down in the box of boxes and grab one. I could 1 of the 4 colors. But my pack will not the same as the next dimir guy. We all have random second color. Weird but ya
Edit: My LGS owner showed me the Hosting email he sent to wizards for clarification on how the guild boxes work.
So I could get Dimir + Izzet
but the next guy might get Dimir + Rakdos
And the next Dimir + Azorius
But the intention is to minimize the same colors on all players.
Kekule_the_Magician on the inclusion of Devouring Light in a TurboFog Deck:
Quote from Kekule_the_Magician »
As a person who typically plays very creature oriented decks, I HATE when an opponent has Devouring Light. It is infuriating to finally get through with a creature on to have it exiled.
I've come to hate White in general now because it gets everything to the point where it is almost unfair. White has boardwipes (Wrath of God, End Hostilities), targeted exile and removal (Devouring Light, Banishing Light, Last Breath), lifegain spells, lifelink, low cost/high power enchantments and auras, flying creatures; my goodness what don't they get!?
Check out: Dragon's Maze Retailer Video - English starting at 3:48. The video says that each box a retailer recieves will contain 20 pre-release packs. One for every combination of Guilds. That means that there is no set combination of guilds. Each Guild has a chance to be paired with any of the 4 gulds from the other set.
That, and you know what they say. If Wizards started shipping $100 bills in boosters tomorrow, people would scream and cry and whine that they were folded the wrong way.
Well, since my LGS is handing out guild packs in the order of how people signed up, and Saturday was completely sold out and I got last place for Sunday, I guess my guilds will be utterly random this time around.
It's really all up to the whim of whoever's running your pre-release. The owner of the store I signed up for has told us that he plans on shuffling all the packs so no one can anticipate which combination they will get. That way no one can "game" the system and trade places.

That can't be right. There is a box for each guild and each guild has to have the other guild in each box. I can understand if you meant that TWO boxes would be enough for each combination of guilds but you are just looking at the one pairing each. This is how its has to be broken down.
As you can see by this 20 does not cover all of the guilds. Each guild has to have a box for each combination. Sure Boros gets paired with Rakdos, but they still have to release a Rakdos with Boros, you see what I'm saying.

They said for each combination, not that the primary guilds would have each combination
If you look at the video and promotional images, it shows that the RTR guilds will occupy the front slot of the boxes, and the GTC guilds will be in the back. That way, they only had to produce half as many boxes.
