Agreed. The way it stands there is ZERO chance of me ever playing Arena at this rate. Just because I'm not the target audience I can still voice my displeasure at what I perceive to be a BIG mistake. Last thing they need is an echo chamber where everyone thinks its butterflies and roses. If you like it fine, play it. Being pretty much a MTG traditionalist/semi-purist makes me hate it and short of big changes I will never play Arena as it is warping into a different game than MTG entirely. How soon before cards change their rules/power based on ranking of a player that owns that card? Its coming. I won't be a part of it. I've said my piece, no need to beat a dead horse. Others can debate merits or lack thereof.

I am not the target for this as I don't play Arena (and never will without drastic changes to it) but I HATE this idea. It is terrible. Two sets of rules for the same named cards, cards not playable in paper, digital only mechanics, bad bad bad. Personally I hope it fails in epic fashion. But again I ain't the target.
