sharpshooter: it blocks reds 3/x and white 2/2 flyer from the get go which is most relevant to me. and after attacking it even blocks illusionary forces. sure id rather have a giant spider for 3. but this is close enough.
mariner is fine, if you have slots for 4/4/4s
flamebreather: as i said the main problem i have with the archetype that a higher creature count makes it worse. i still prefer archer, since its also able to attack.
might: i like might better than growth because trample deals more damage to the player effectively.
specimen: not sure one is enough, but its a start. i definitely can see it being played in Bx control shells as well.
spawn: yeah i still dont like high mv critter in red.
impulse: its a draw 2 for 2 in red most of the time.
thoughts: the only pure draw spells i run are:
Compulsive probably the worst, but its still a draw3 for 3, which is worth the sorcery over instant imo.
i rather gain card advantage elsewhere. like bouncing Thalakos Seer with stuff like
Kessig Flamebreather seems very cube-able. It's another take on Firebrand Archer, and I'm honestly not sure if spell-heavy red decks (or Izzet decks) prefer a 2/1 or a 1/3. I know I'm considering it for Peasant, so it has to be worth a look in Pauper.
spells matters got cut from many pauper cubes. its more efficient to play bodies with effect.
Im not convinced that the Sharpshooter is better than Crocanura, which can be evolved the turn it's played, multiple times in a single turn, and w/o attacking. Even if you play a creature card with more attack power, then you have to wait until next turn to attack with it. The Croc frog gets the counter and can attack with is right away.
my thoughts about the cards you mentioned:

obv ninja, Tandem Lookout and Saltwater Stalwart draw cards "on their own" as well

forsee is quite crappy tbh

Weaver of Blossoms > Priest of Titania
Titania was cute, but I like any color and mv3 slot better. i also cut 2 elves.
Reckless Impulse > Reckless Charge
Reckless comes in, reckless goes out. Charge is like you never have it, when you want it.
Persistent Specimen > Gluttonous Slug
idk. Slug kinda underperformed, but its still a shaky spot. maybe if we get another good sacenabler.
Apprentice Sharpshooter > Thornweald Archer
a potential 2/5 reach is more promising than the mv2 Archer.

Cruel Witness is also very solid
