Looks fine, but I can't imagine cutting any of the more competitive cards for it. Especially since there are like 3-4 more good Boros options in this set that also look better.
I don't think Leonin Lightscribe is a very good cube card. I think it's hard to make it work well here, in any deck where you can reliably go wide enough to make the anthem effect really valuable, it's going to be hard to reliably trigger it more than once in the same turn. I think Accorder Paladin will give you much the same effect most of the time without conditionally being a vanilla 2/2 in critical situations. In spell-heavy decks, I usually need my creatures to do some heavy lifting on their own. And on an otherwise empty board, I'd rather have something like Seeker of the Way. Lightscribe falls somewhere between those 2 creatures for me, and I don't know if there's a deck I build all that often in the cube that has an instant/sorcery count high enough to reliably make the anthem trigger twice that can afford to play a creature that's a bit lackluster on its own. Some cubes might have the composition to do it, but mine doesn't.
But hell, I hope I'm wrong and it plays damn-awesome for folks that try it out! Could be great.
Not a huge fan of multi-color removal spells in general, and boy are there a lot of those in Strixhaven. Even not being a fan, I'm looking at 2 cards to add in this category: Rip Apart and Prismari Command.
Good point about Plargg and Augusta not fitting very well in the same deck. That makes it an odd hybrid: it's hybrid in the cube but not in your deck. We'll see what to do with that If one or both play well enough it could be good enough, testing will tell.
I also agree that magecraft has a very high potential for cube, but it looks like all the removal has pushed some powerful magecraft cards off your list. I'm looking at testing Archmage Emeritus and Witherbloom Apprentice which both have very powerful magecraft triggers, and maybe even Professor Onyx which is expensive but has an even more ridiculous magecraft trigger. I think Rowan, Scholar of Sparks/Will, Scholar of Frost could also be a good inclusion to bolster spells heavy decks in larger cubes.
You're welcome!
Yes, multicolor removal isn't the most exciting thing to add, but there's several really good pieces in this set.
There were a fair number of medium Magecraft cards that didn't make the list. Some are decent, but a lot of them look hard to reliably extract meaningful value from.
I actually really like the art style used for the Looting, but I don't like that particular piece. I'm in the camp that really appreciates Wizards branching out into entirely new art styles, as long as they're options.
DoJ art is also nice, but the promo Kev Walker art is just too good for me to take out.
100% in agreement with all of that! Thanks for taking the time to comment. Agreed on being cube besties.
I'm trying Verse over Sorin for the moment, but I could 100% see myself undoing that change in the future. Especially if we get another great reason to push tokens in the black section. Sorin's a house in that deck.
I agree with your assessment of too, but I'm pretty confident that Rip Apart belongs in the top 3 now. That card hits more than 250 cards in my cube, which is a bonkers number for a 2cc spell.
I also love the new Natural Order and IoK Archives, and I might pick up one (or both) of those.

Abundant Harvest isn't a Strixhhaven card, it's a MH2 card.

The Witch is different, but it opens up an entirely new thing black can meaningfully contribute to, which is really cool.
And ya, I'm all for more removal that kills 'walkers too. Black is awesome at that now.
