It's been awhile my guy. So my update is I've finally gotten a computer and an account. Just waiting on Manatraders or Cardhoarder to approve me to start playing the deck. If you see someone named Trophy_Mage starting to place with it that's me. Lol.
Also congratulations on those nice finishes with the deck. How does it do since the meta shifted to 4 color control, Living End, Rhinos placing so well recently?
Not much advise I can give you but I'd suggest getting all the same look. Like your Plains are different. If you get Thoughtseized then draw and play the Plains a crafty player will be like Humm. Tgats not the Plains they had in their hand. Yes, it's so minor but could make the difference. Even slightly increasing your percentages does help. .03 increase could determine a win or not.... other than that I'm about to go watch your videos and see what I can find for you bud
Not sure if all the STM online are the same. Would matter more than the Plains.
Edit: Nice looking match! Glad to see you still here pushing this deck forward.
IDK how often you hit that combo, but the individual parts of the combo look weak on their own. I'd typically rather see more individual power in those slots. To me modern isn't the power level of a 2 Mana 1/3 do nothing card. 🤷
Could play that, but erase may just be better. Reason I say that is you can make it look like you didn't use your Mana efficiently. The more you leave open the more obvious it is.
Just exiling one Helod is typically good enough. You are an aggro deck so they don't exactly have time to dig. Yes some games they will have multiples but how often do you lose because you have to spend your whole turn holding up 2 Mana instead of half that amount?
Good points. And not discounting your statement. Just throwing out that legacy and modern are two entirely different formats. It's a little easier to hate on legacy with this card than modern. Imo. But including them main could be the correct decision.
Legacy uses the same cards to win typically and uses the superior CA and manipulating to find the cards. Modern feels more spread out.
I'm thinking SB. Unless sweepers are dominating the format... That seems like a very unlikely thing though. It doesn't seem good against
Prowess: what do you name? 1 then they kill it and deal you 3.
Tron: do you name 3,7, or 8?
Shadow: ...
Control: I suppose 2,3, or 4.
D&T: easy 1.
Jund: feels like 1.
For some reason I thought we were still in Feb. I'm giving myself the end of 2 months down the road. So by the end of May I'll be streaming. Not sure if just streaming on Twitch or will be doing that and YouTube. All depends on the computer. But I'm excited to see how the deck performs. You are clearly the white creature master.
Yes indeed my guy. Those results can't be denied. I'm thinking by April I should be streaming. And your deck is going to be one of the first ones I play. I know I'm not a master of the deck like you are. But I'll do my best. 😀
