Self pres isn't a meta here. Never has been. I'm pretty sure I've literally never done it
FWIW it is meta here. I know at least I do it (and often end up dying for it). Shadow does, RHand too I think.
Anyway still locked in on town tom and Sloth. YWMILF is townish. Wisp can be scum regardless of KJ's alignment but is probably more likely if KJ is town.
Flarg's handling of KJ doesn't bother me as much for some reason. The reaction to the RB claim is a TWTBAW moment.
Funnily enough I think if KJ is scum then that's probably near confirmation that wolves don't have scum chat. It's a safe assumption on MTGS these days that wolf chat is the norm and KJ probably wouldn't be in the default assumption that this game doesn't have Day Chat for scum. The fact that he had to look up that PB1 didn't have it is further evidence.
@Wisp there isn't a red flag for KJ but his meta has been established to be the determined thorough style of play where he's somewhat in his own bubble trying to figure things out rather than convince people of his rightness. He pings the thread for feedback or explanations more than he pings the thread to convince them he's right.
KJ this game has backtracked on a lot of the improvements he's made to the game and is/was playing a very different style of game. If you want specific wolf things he's often latched onto things in a way that feels performative (see him still caring about my answer on his early interaction with Zionite or that specific interaction) rather than genuine.
There is also his immediate reaction to tom dropping his case where he fixated on tom TMI'ing scum chat and trying to push that as evidence tom was scum. Those all feel rather unKJ like to me.
He's probably scum here and the amount of people steadfastly saying that this push is wrong without offering any evidence of town KJ makes me feel even better about it.
Interesting that Lastwhisper isn't mentioned in regards to "joke" posts, @FlargBlarg. Especially since you did mention a run-away vote train on LW is beneficial to you for reads. Why does LW get a pass?
Doubling down now, I see. Anyone else wanna see where this goes? Vote Lastwhisper
Apperently I quoted the wrong posts before.
So I suppose my question wasn't clear enough. I noted from these two posts that in response to something that could potentially be scummy came immediate and kind of aggressive suspicion. Is this typical for you?
Here's the two quotes.
So I felt these two posts felt sinister, as a villain would. I later reword it here.
He explains it as "Well I was gonna to but decided against it" which I accepted due to the fact that he started RPing in cell chat pregame. When reading later I realized that what he was saying didn't feel like prison RP. So I asked him to clarify, which he did and it was nothing like what he was doing so I pressed him further, then later asked him for games to check to see if that was normal for him.
I don't really see what you mean by feeling sinister. They sound lawyerly to me in like they are trying to set traps, but I don't see anything there that would make think it's a voice or a RP. And I'm still struggling to wrap my head around the idea that you asking about his RP would really help you solve him there.
Anyway if there was another question I missed please ask again.
I'm going to be honest. I've completely checked out of the last however long. I'm completely committed to sheeping tom on this. If KJ flips town then by all means come for my scalp tomorrow but I don't really have much else to say right now. I could try to dissect the wagons but I'm not moving my vote so it feels a bit wasted.
@KJ it felt like a strange thing to focus on in the first place and the fact that it ended up just being a read about agression starting it off with a dive into a roleplay question felt performative. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see a thread from mustache twirling to aggressive suspicion, so the whole thing felt "look at me I'm solving "
@KJ your interactions with Zionite early. They weren't actively scummy but the thing where you tried to figure out what voice he was RP'ing as felt performative. Like you were trying to look curious rather than actually interested.
I was scum in you that game too. Tom said it first so I'm technically sheeping him but I came to it individually.

@Tom That's kind of my main worry here but ehhhhhh
I don't feel the need to put a lot of effort in here because I very much believe tom.
And if I'm wrong I'm very sorry but I don't think tom and by extension me are wrong.

Anyway I haven't read anything else and will try to tonight.
Yes. I am actively agreeing with his case on you. And had a few other things ping me that I don't have the energy to dig up right now.
