Why does it matter? I'm talking about their pricing. They are increasing their pricing immediatly with the second wind of this product.
So what if i spend 25€ every week on magic boosters? They'll jump the price of a booster pack from 4 to 25 and i have to shut up because that's how much i spend on magic
Have you checked the prices of the original art Gods in foil? If you bought each one in foil, as of TCG prices today, it would be ~$465 for 15 cards... or you can get cards that haven't been available or reprinted, as a newer player or a fan of the new art style for a fraction of the cost...
Your high horse sir/madam, please dismount it. These products aren't for everyone, and that's ok. You have plenty of other things to look forward to this year as far as other products go.
Ooooooooooh, so wizard just fully aknowledged the secondary market and started to price their products based on that and i have to shut up because "the products is not for everyone" and "i'm on a high horse". Nice!
It matters because the only thing that actually seems to require a defense here is how people choose to spend their money, not Wizard's pricing structure. So what if they're $40 each? From the outside looking in, someone like us blowing any amount of money on printed card stock looks ridiculous, and I don't see anyone waxing judgmental over your spending proclivities. As long as there are people out there who will derive some measure of joy from owning this product, it's not our business to tell them - or Wizards - how to do business with each other. If there was actually a problem, rest assured it would sort itself out without your input.
Novemember/December Secret Lairs: (5) at $29.99, (2) at $39.99. $200 for a bundle. January Secret Lairs: (1) at $39.99. (no $29.99 products) February Secret Lairs: (5) at $39.99. $150 for a bundle. (no $29.99 products)
It’s a very simple reason I have none of the original gods besides iroas and that’s only because of the 4 color commander deck
But also value is there (these are as if non foil)
2 is worth it with Thassa 1.0 about 20$ kruphix is 10
4 is worth it since all 3 make the 39.99 (red gods)
And the auto jackpot is number 3 black with the 2 of the best ones from the original with Erebos and athreos that definatly valued above 39.99
Why would somebody say you’re not smart? If you don’t own the original gods this isn’t a bad way to get them. For a lot of us, especially the commander players, that ship has long since sailed. Don’t let our opinions sway your decision.
