Looking at Magic 2020; I see a lot of knights. There were a good number of them in Dominaria as well. I am starting to think we might see a White/Black/x Knight Commander in our future, which would be pretty cool. Please reprint Haakon!
Why should they reprint the worst legendary knight they have ever printed? All kidding aside, Haakon is ok, but pretty much worthless as your commander. In the 99 however, he is fine.
Haha yeah he would be cool in the 99. Unless they remade him to be multi color or something... idk if it makes sense with his flavor to be White/Black...

5C Slivers isn’t out of the question and would lower some prices. Also, Slivers are very attractive to players new to Commander and new players in general.
Squirrels aren’t unlikely. It’s one of the most beloved tribes of all of Magic fandom. The only reason it hasn’t been supported until very recently is because some alpha nerd at WotC thought Squirrels aren't serious enough for Standard sets.
Probably a Snow deck, which would be cool.
And a colorless deck possibly featuring Constructs and Modular.
I like the idea of a Sliver deck, but I think it has a lot of issues that hold it back. First and foremost is the old Sliver rule text that benefits all slivers on the board. To me, this is a huge problem, especially if they make them readily available in a PreCon. Imagine a bunch of players sitting down and 3/4 of them are playing Slivers. To me, it sounds like a complicated game from the start. As much as I would love to see it happen, I think it's a little far out.
The same goes for squirrels... Do they have enough support to be their own thing?
I know there is a thread already created for Commander 2019 Speculation, but I wanted to break away from random speculation and try to actually pin down some themes for the upcoming decks. I think there is a lot to be learned from what WotC shows us. WotC is notorious for foreshadowing what the deck themes may be by planting cards in Standard sets that add to an archetype for a Commander deck release. Additionally, I think a lot can be learned from knowing what Characters from Magic's past people love that have not received proper attention yet. Using these two tools alongside knowing that there will be four decks, most likely with somewhat equal color distribution, we can hammer out some really accurate speculation on what Commander 2019 might have in store for us.
If anyone would like to take a stab at it, feel free. I haven't had time to investigate our recent "Plant" cards in sets, nor gone over all the characters we have set to see from Magic's past.
