I used to have a hard time taking anything apart. But I also disliked having subpar cards, and I also didn't like buying a ton of fetchlands for every deck I made.
That's why I merged everything together to make one collection of singleton cards. I make a new deck every week or two, then disassemble it when I get bored. It's a good system, would recommend.
I second this. I do the same thing, only I have multiple decks built and try to build new ones from the unused cards. The it really gets me looking at cards I wouldn't otherwise use and makes each deck feel fresh.
