Ohhh that was the other thing! Like Mind said I kept expecting people to turn on Wisp after mission 3. I figured there would be a strong Wisp vs Rhand/Shadow dichotomy forming. The fact that he pushed so hard to keep both him and Rhand on the mission for 3 made me think people would turn on him after the fail but that just didn't happen. Credit goes to KJ, LnG, and Riku for reading him right, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have after that.
I had so much fun modding this. At various points throughout the game I had each member of scum question what the others were doing.
Killjoy and LnGrrrR's roleplay was a delight and I was happy they felt inspired by the flavor. I'm sorry I wasn't able to keep up the scenes. I'm not a skilled creative writer and I really struggled to get out what I did.
I found it incredibly stressful that the game came down to KJ effectively deciding in a LYLO after he'd had to do that in the last game.
When Wisp dummied Rhand on N2 I thought the game was over. I was so impressed by scum fighting back from that. Having to get three straight and two on one mission with a scum already 1 for 1'd is so hard but they managed it.
The Dummy mechanic really changed the game starting at mission 3. Normally the practice would be to cycle a lot of players out who weren't trusted but in the case keeping Rhand in to dummy and minimize unknowns put a ton of power in the hands of the mission leader and Shadow managing to be the leader swung the entire game.
And my absolute favorite thing this game was already mentioned but Cantrip voting for a mission that would lose him the game was an absolute baller move. Just ice cold and I'm so impressed he managed to call that vote count.
Setback after setback had frustrated the crew. Time and time again the feds had known where they were going to be and gotten in the way. Everyone knew they had one shot left or they were going to have to get out of dodge with nothing to show for it.
Pipes stood up first but immeadiately sat back down realizing he didn't want that type of pressure. Jones cracked his knuckles and stood up. "Look fella's. I trust most of ya. Not all of ya, but most of ya. And I know fer a fact that you trust me. That's why you're here. So here's the rough plan.

You leave him and we'll do this my way." To which he got nothing but icy stares and a few hands sliding towards holsters.
A calm voice from the back rang out "Look, none of this has gone according to plan. But every operation has run like clockwork. You've all put yer lives in my hands and I've got you back out. Trust me, Jones' plan is good, but you've got to trust me to get everyone where they need to go and trust me on who to trust." And since Doc had got them out alive everyone reluctantly handed him the reins of the mission.

I'm a bit sad that one of the last games to finish on the mafia forum isn't going to be proper mafia but I'm glad this was such a down to the wire affair. I have some more thoughts and I'll type them up later but for now thank you all so much for playing. I had an awesome time hosting this game and I hope you had as good of a time as I did.
After the last setback the crew devolved into squabbling and paranoia. Hips were conspicuously covered and bulged at odd angles, it was quieter around the "office", and all the previous laughter and braggadocio had vanished. The spooks were onto you and you needed to find who you could trust. And fast.
Despite all this you decided to run the plan back but when your man on the inside called it off saying there were extra patrols you knew you'd been made again. There was time for one last run and if it failed you were looking at a long stay in federal prison. So the pressure was on.
