As for Humility vs. Aurafication or No Mercy, the big difference is creatures that don't need to attack to do their job. My Trinket Mage or Seedborn Muse doesn't care about your Aurafication, but Humility is a big problem for them.
As I said, I don't want to interfere too much with the rest of the tables games (unless theyre game is killing me) so I want you to have your Trinket Mage and get your artifact I just want to survive long enough to build my wincons
And do you feel the same way about creatures that kill you without damaging you, like Zulaport Cutthroat?

Delaying Shield is nice in general if you run into Voltron or Infect decks, especially if those players run "damage can't be prevented" effects. Delaying Shield doesn't prevent damage and get that many counters, it replaces damage with counters. You never received the commander damage, you just lost life on your upkeep to the delay counters. (As opposed to Platinum Emperion, where your life total didn't change, but you still took the commander damage.)
