KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Rhand will be checked when I wake up this morning and may be prodded.
one I didnt even start your train, it was started by an RVS vote via Rhand, secondly, if I flipped scum, you are comfortable enough to say even rhand is town, thats ******* bs and you know it
now im asking you again, when I flip town, if by some ungodly chance I get lynched, whats next?
I never said Rhand was town. Rhand would not be town if you flipped town. Rhand has literally posted nothing.
To answer your question, if you flipped town I would reconsider my read on RC. ScarletCelestial really feels scum driven to me. Scarlet is an easy target and isn't really reacting the way I feel scum should react to the pressure.
People really need to get in here because half the game is question marks.

I've linked a few Town games of mine from the previous page, and said what my Town game is before, but just to reiterate: my Town game consists of me trying to solve the game through the methods of questioning and commenting, though it can include trying to do OK VCA and looking at interactions from Day 2 onward (I think it's also one of the reasons I look Townier Day 2 onward, I can actually start using the wide array of tools available to me). As Town, this means that I can be much more insightful than I am as scum, because as scum I can only really scum read my scumbuddies unless someone else is SUPER scummy.
My style and type of questions I ask vary wildly, as does my participation if I can't keep up so neither of those are AI for me. It's more about trying to work out if I look like I'm thinking or not, which is not too difficult, and as I said before there is a massive tonal gap as a result.
@Killjoy
Day 1 its probably hard for you to evaluate a world where I am town, and PoE is PoE as I always say, and its very convenient to just go with, "well he's voting me so he's probably scum,"
Maybe it's my bias because I never really liked your style of game solving and always thought you come off a little scummy...
The fact that you are not letting your questions go unanswered makes me feel a little better about you for the most part
You asked me why I didn't vote you till RC brung it up? It was not because I forgot, it was just my way of adamantly proving that I still would be ok with your lynch
Why do I think for the most part you aren't game-solving? It's because outside of the fact that you are actually seeking out the answers to your questions, I feel like most of the content is just there, but it really isn't doing anything? if that makes sense
Also, let me go back to my "interesting" post... I see you are still trying to find some deeper meaning in it, if you want my real thoughts, looking back, I think Rhands entrance was meh, and Toms vote was just kinda a thing, and nai at best
Dude. That's not why I'm voting you. Are you reading my posts?
Scarlets wagon doesn't feel like a town made wagon. It feels scum driven... scum on a townie. So does mine. The two commonalities between the two are you and RC.
It's not simply "because you're voting me."
And what do you mean by "the content is out there?"
Anyone who knows: Is there some other site meta where votes bounce around this much with no reason? Because its scummy as ***** and I don't understand it.

What does that tell you about the two people on my wagon, tom and Rhand?
the train was rvs or at least started by Rhand, Tom voted you with a pun, I can say it really leads me in any direction... Story could change later on, based on if/when you get lynched or killed and flip, based on what you flip...
Rhand hasnt posted anything outside of that vote, so its impossible, well maybe not impossible in some cases, to have a read on him as of yet
Tom is a hard cookie to crack, and at the moment im getting town vibes
currently my PoE is as follows: Rhand, You, Scarlet and I kinda like it, obviously theres not 3 scum, but im confortable with it currently
Ok, but my point is that you specified that my reaching L-2 quickly was interesting (and therefore had some relevence to the gamestate), so I figured you had some kind of more solid opinion on one of the two people voting me. Perhaps a spicy read. But you're coming back at me with "the wagon was RVS and doesn't lead anywhere" which is not what I was expecting.
To appear Town I try to replicate my Town game. Sadly, I find it really difficult to question things and form opinions that are original unless I know for a fact it comes from scum, so I end up burying my scumbuddies instead. Has happened in all three of my most recent scum games, only one of which being in the last few months (Hydra Mafia: RIP Dias/Wisp).
And how do you try to replicate it? Like, I guess what is your 'town game' then?
tom: The thing about tom is I typically solve mafia a certain way, and that way involves audiance participation. Tom does not engage me in this participation. He ignores my questions and just basically goes out of his way to make my attempts to read him pretty much useless. I'm glad he told me this time he wasn't gonna answer and didn't just ignore me for forever.
Anyway, He's just gonna go hard into POE ONLY. He's a capable enough player that he can skate the line between scummy town and townie scum so trying to analyze him without a significant meta knowledge of him is similarly pointless. So, yeah. I'm just gonna read everyone around him and see where that goes.
Radiant: Him being more experianced kinda trounces my pure read on him. If he's played mafia enough he can fake that so that tell isn't relevent anymore. I have liked the posts he isolated from Scarlet insofar as his aims to analysis.
Scarlet: Like I said before, I liked RC's isolated posts with relevence to him. However, I'm getting that tingly feeling I got in Zero Escape with DawningBluePhraze. The language feels... natural. Like that's just how she talks in general... not just as scum. Another feeling I'm having here is that, from a gameflow perspective, there's a bit of a dogpile on a bit of meat feeling. Like, she's an easy target and I think scum are all over that. I'm guessing there's a scum on that wagon.
Like... I can see a world where she can be scum. Maybe I'm wrong about my feeling re: her language. I just... don't think I am.
Wisp: I've been getting a 'too scum to be scum' feeling here... but my feelings on the Scarlet and my wagons have made me rethink that. My wagon, btw, I feel like I have no idea where it came from and I'm town so there's probably also scum on that. The two who have been on both were Last and Radiant, but Radiant felt more natural about that. Last kinda feels to me like he doesn't really care which of us gets lynched.
There was also that time where he forgot he liked my wagon and that's why he's voting me now. That felt unnatural as *****.
A bit of worldbuilding:
Wisp and Radiant not scum together.
Wisp more likely scum on (town)Scarlet/my wagons because he's less natural.
Radiant/Scarlet maybeee not scum together? IDK how bad I wanna clear that team for Scarlet apperently not knowing Cowbells actual experiance.
Ruma/Rhand/Tom still fit in all scumteams. Actually... maybe not tom/Wisp? Tom WOULD bus, but at the same time he WOULDN'T. Its not out of character, but I think he would at least be hesitant?
I think Vote Wisp needs to happen.
And as usual, if something in this is unclear, ask. I suck at writing.

Hm.
What does that tell you about the two people on my wagon, tom and Rhand?
vote: Tom
with no information as of yet to move my leans around, I would say Riku or Tom should die today as of right now, because Tom is hard to evaluate, and Riku will just be wine for the town even tho I find it relatively easy to read him..
Is this a serious vote?
Tom IS hard to evaluate, but I don't think he deserves to die because of it. Logistically I'd place it up there with lynching lurkers in that it doesn't tell us much in relation to other people.
And what is your history with Rumanishi? Is this a meta thing?
EWP: You mention some meta here. Can you expand?
----------------------------------- RC: Hi. Welcome to MTGS. I don't know you yet. Do you enjoy playing as town or scum? And why? Scarlet: I vaguely recall seeing you around here in games, though I'm sure we've never played together. My question for you is this: As scum, what do you do to appear town? Tom: Talk to me more about why last is scum. I see what you're saying here, but having played with him before I also kind of... don't think it'll be this easy? He's doing like. a lot of scum things.
But as scum, would he not TRY to appear town? Is that not a thing he would do? Ruma: Firstly, your sig says you prefer Riku. Do you mind if I call you that?
Second, I asked LW about meta experiance with you. Can you talk to me about it from your POV?

Opinions so far:
Radiant might actually be crazy? I'm kinda purereading him a lot of what he's saying seems to come literally from nowhere so IDK how I can really properly assess his motives? Like, he's being pure but is it scumpure or townpure? *shrug*
Last, again, seems scummy but there's more to unpack here.
Tom is tomtastically tom-adjacent.

Scum I'd assume would be more defensive, maybe push back, maybe try to deflect. Scarlet feels more like she's taking it in stride.
Scarlet isn't reacting to the pressure in the way of expect Mafia of her experience to act. It's gut, but it's like strong gut.
