I ordered a couple as well and they were supposed to be here today. But, due to the extreme cold, FedEx was not delivering so I will hopefully get mine tomorrow. If that happens to me, I will post here. It is an odd occurrence. I wonder what situations on the backend would cause Hasbro to accidentally send out more than the person ordered? I mean, it is obviously a mistake with processing, and we know from the first Mythic Edition debacle that their backend processing is...less than stellar. But it would be interesting to know what set of circumstances would cause that to happen.
They relisted these so anyone who missed them the first time around can try again. I did see that the previous listing was removed (it seems that eBay removed it rather than Hasbro removing it) so I am not sure what happened. I have a tracking number for the previous listing, even though it does not show on FedEx yet, so I am hoping something hasn't gone wrong.
I ended up picking these up as soon as they were listed and I am kind of surprised how many they still have listed. I too am watching to see how many they end up selling since I am curious on the final number. I wonder if the fact that these did not sell out almost immediately is more to the fact that they are less desirable (I really only want Karn, Dack Fayden and Tamiyo; though Domri seems like it could be good in the right deck) or because they are all listed here rather than being split out between the online store and in person at GPs. Probably a combination of both.
In any case, hopefully there are no major issues on the fulfillment side of these orders and they get them taken care correctly. It does suck that they did this to make them available internationally and then have a steep fee on top of the base price making it not much better than the secondary market for anyone not in the US.

I would suggest reaching out to someone to determine what actually is happening. I would be curious if the article is wrong or the person who responded to you in wrong. Or maybe they will have it set up in two weeks (but I doubt it).
