By the way, if you play superfriends, you're looking for planeswalkers which are threats on their own: They become creatures, they make tokens, or they do direct damage. (Sorry, there are no Bant examples I could think of. And I guess Jace, the Mind Sculptor makes -12 my least favorite number?) Your goal is to use control effects (and boardwipes) to control the board so these threats can be 10,000 bee stings.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Just a quick rules note, though: Having no loyalty counters is a state-based action which sends planeswalkers to the graveyard. Totem armor won't save them in that case.
