Alrighty, after deliberations with the FTQ committee, we have narrowed the pool of candidates down to our three winners. In no particular order they are:
Ganderin Dan - DoTA 2 Mafia TheRealStinkyJoeTerry - Knights of the Old Republic Mafia Atogaholic - The World Ends With You Mafia
Congratulations to them, and thanks and commiserations to everyone else - it was a tough field this time, and sadly all the games couldn't win. Those who didn't win can either polish their game up for next time, or try and massage them into Normals or Minis because those queues are pretty dry at the moment.
With the completion of Zero Escape and Arkham Horror and the indefinite delay to Into Oblivion, it is time to open submissions for the next round of Specialty games.
Anyone interested in hosting a Specialty-level game should sign up in this very thread and public discussion is encouraged. These games will be judged by the FTQ committee (the council + some past FTQ winners) with the winning three going forward to being the next Specialty games played - with the first slated to run once the Team Mafia finishes.
Rules
Each entrant must sign up in this thread, proving some key information about their game:
Game Name
Host(s)
Reviewer(s)
Current stage of development
Number of Players
Deadline Lengths
A technical overview of the game (Central mechanics, Complexity, aims, etc.)
A flavour overview
Each Entrant should use only one post per submission, and should keep it updated
One person may submit multiple entries at one post each. A person cannot, however, win multiple times.
You may submit unfinished games, but they must at least have passed one review by the close of signups to be eligible for judging. The more finished the better.
Close of signups will be in one month, followed by a shot judging period.
