Hey everyone, first of all, I want to thank you all for all the information gathered in this topic, specially to penguin as she is keeping the deck updated.
Some cards that have been working great for me are:
I also wanted to ask a question about Gurmag Swiftwing. Let's say we have Arcane Adaptation and Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadowon the board We also have and a Ninja with ninjitsu in our hand. Could we get two Yuriko's triggers due to Gurmag Swiftwing first strike damage and replacing it with the Ninjitsu Ninja before the "normal damage" is dealt??
Yes

I could barely even squeeze Demonic Tutor into my Deck.. How on earth am I going to make room for Personal Tutor and/or Imperial Seal?? 'xD
I think I have enough Tutors.. Not every Black Deck needs to have unGodly amounts of Tutors.. lol.
(Do you guys think that either of those are better than Demonic Tutor?)
I'd guess Vamp and Mystical is the best ones here, but if you already got both then its a matter of taste which ones you want after that. I like Diabolic and Personal due to being less common cards, but I might end up running all 5 tutors eventually (no seal though, haha).
I got around to ordering the core of the deck and will start playtesting once everything's arrived.
I'd run 7 fetches if I owned that many, but since I only got two that is what I'll be running since there's a bunch of cards I have higher priority of getting than fetches.

The Scuttler-Warp-Yuriko combo is actually only 9 mana to start, provided you already have Time Warp and Scuttler in hand and hit both your land drops for the next two extra turns. On 9 mana is Time Warp + Vexing Scuttler (saccing Yuriko) recurring Time Warp, on 10 mana is Time Warp + 5 mana you can spend removing blockers or drawing cards to hit land drops, on 11 mana is Ninjutsu back Scuttler with Yuriko, sac Yuriko to Scuttler getting Warp, play Warp.
I don't play Treasure Cruise in any of my decks rn. DTT outperforms it and I've found Secrets of the Golden City to be better in that slot as it doesn't require me to ravage my own GY.
Yes, DTT is better but I still like running both. There's usually a bunch of stuff in my GY I'm fine getting rid of. The big downside is GY hate IMO.

I'd like Vexing Scuttler a lot more if it didn't require 12 mana and a way to get in for damage to go infinite with...
Isn't it 10 Mana (provided you have a Land drop for your 2nd Turn?) 2 to Ninjutsu, 5 to Warp (7 Mana).. next Turn: Land Drop, 4 to Emerge, 2 to Ninjutsu, 5 to Warp (11 Mana.)
You need to attack with Scutter, so you need to emerge the same turn. 2 (Yuriko) + 5 (Warp) + 4 (Scutter). I was still wrong though, haha.
If you have no Land drop for the Turn, you can Tap a Basic, use that Mana for Borderpost's Ability, return the Basic to Hand, and then play it from Hand as your Land drop for Turn. So.. it's effectively a Mox that enters Tapped?
More like a land that enters tapped and occasionally pings your opponents for 3, since you don't get the land drop. I think that's too weak, but I do hate taplands, the only one I'm running here is Darkslick Shores
Btw, I'm toying around with River of Tears, but it should probably just be another Island.. lol. (But it's SO PRETTY!)
I KNOW RIGHT??? I've had Rivers of Tears in so many decks where it shouldn't be.
Is Key to the City better than Thassa or Writ of Passage? I wouldn't think so.. I'd originally cut the Key for Thassa, but now I'm not sure.. The Scry isn't entirely useless though, since you can bottom expensive Cards you may not need.
I think both cards suffer from being outclassed by other cards rather than being bad cards by themselves.
Equilibrium costs colorless to activate, thankfully. I'm mostly worried it might be a dead card too often.
Snapcaster is forever staple, anyone who owns one should play one. Snapback tutors, counters, time warp, brainstorm, etc. It's one of the cards I just add to every blue deck I play without secnd guessing it. It's that good. Mana Drain as well, it's a ramp spell for our expensive cards moreso than a counterspell Foil is an okay-ish option for another free counterspell, especially if you run Gush (I might not run either, but I'll probably playtest them at some point at least).
I'd like Vexing Scuttler a lot more if it didn't require 12 mana and a way to get in for damage to go infinite with...
I'll be on 32 lands to start with, but my curve is lower than plushpenguins. I think running Borderpost is making the mistake of running subpoor cards in order to make more damage per attack, but I hate taplands with a passion. It's never a mox because it costs mana and won't make 2 mana turn 1, which is why I run my beloved Chrome Mox for.
Thassa got cut in brewing for me, I really don't want to pay 1U for unblockable, and I'll have to draw the card in my draw step anyways, so no Yuriko stacking. The forecast card that does pretty much the same effect is better if you want unblockable I think.

I think Dire Undercurrents is okay, at least I'm not running enough black creatures to make the discard effect crippling, and the draw effect isn't really something we're looking for. If I was running a higher concentration of black creatures I'd consider it, but it's too slow if I can only reliably trigger it of Yuriko.
I'm not looking for the type of effect Cloudstone Curio provides. If I was running more ninjas maybe, but there's more efficient ways of getting Yuriko off the table if I wanted more of that kind of effect.
Equilibrium is a good card, especially if you run a lot of cheap creatures. I might try it out myself.

I'll make sure to pick up one then. I don't like Lotus here at all though, but Dowsing Dagger might do work.
YMMV but in my experience, Bloodchief Ascension is not a good defensive card because it draws too much hate for what you get out of it. It's cheap though, and if you don't get 3v1'd by playing it it's probably worth a slot.
Blinkmoth allows us to get in more ninja hits when everything's a ninja, or allows us to not take as much of a tempo loss after a boardwipe. I'm not running it as a ninjutsu enabler per say, and when I want to ninjutsu it the loss of a land drop shouldn't be that big of a deal. I don't think Rogue's Passage is good here, it costs too much mana to activate and we can only run that many colorless lands.
And you should run a Mana Drain, of course I prefer Counterspell over Pact though. 3UU is so expensive, even if you pay it next turn... I only like it in cases where there won't be a next turn after you cast it, whereas counterspell is good the whole game.

I don't like JtMS in EDH in general and especially not in a deck that can't protect it. The card will probably be a 4 mana brainstorm or unsommon too often, and the card has an awful reputation from other formats which makes it targeted higher than it deserve (and to be realistic it's not a very cheap card, you can get more impactful cards for the money).
I do actually own a Jace, so I might still test it just because the thought of repeating brainstorms is sweet, but I'm not expecting anything (unless I manage to finally sell or trade it).
Bearer of Silence seems bad. If it were 1B (or even 2) to make an opponent sac but now it's a 1B flyer with an upside that won't happen often and will be useful even less times. Colorless mana is rough here (I'll have 3-5 lands making it), and competition in the 2-drop slot is tough. There's so much better things to run I won't.
Anyways, how is Dowsing Dagger? It seems a bit too cute to me, but maybe your milage varies.

I think the only way to do that is through an overcosted equipment, all other effects is off color.

Test around what you think fits or are happy to play, but I do think both Snapcaster, DTutor and TCruise are hard excludes in any UB deck [/quote]
