Lots of little probes that just kind of float there with no strength.
That sums me up in a nutshell atleast the probing part, I don't get out of work till an hour after my death happens so not sure how much I can actually defend myself
Well rereading the thread the one thing I can say is that the math told me Osie and Shadow were the scum team.
Osie and Shadow shoved me down into their scum lists which felt calculated to say the least. I was going to come into the thread with a Shadow Osie push but Shadow blocking the Shinichi kill throws me for a loop.
Dota seems like hes grasping at any reason to scum read people.
Kami seems town.
Hmm.
Does Osie make these plays as scum?
Why does he throw so early as town?
Your math? Math done in the game? I dont recall any math being used by them. So what does ur math say about them?
Well you were hardly contributing to the thread normally thats grounds to be scum read. What doo u think about the shadow block?
Enlighten me on the Kami read and the thing about dota!!!
Well there's no reason for scum!shadow to save me here, so I'll clear him on that. Obviously not convincing to anyone else unless I end up dying and flipping later.
Now that you are not actively dying, could you please tell me in detail why you switched from osie to Shinichi in such a quick succession?
In a span of 2½ hours you went from "I'm planning on striking osie" to striking Shinichi. This interests me.
Osie's reaction to me saying I was going to kill him was good. And I realized I had glossed over Shinichi in my initial reads; on review it struck me as a jellyfish.
The one thing i like is that u pointed out u cant convince us without a flip that makes me feel much better about you
I was kinda sad since I was expecting a deep analysis about Kami and his interactions and all I got was "no one is opposing him dying", which is an okay argument I guess, but I was expecting more from shadow.
Shadow, if your buddy were under some pressure and everyone else seemed being fine with them dying, would you really go out all the way to save your buddy?
What are your thoughts on Kami expressing his intention to shoot osie, only to switch it to Shinichi at the last moment?
Unfortunately there isn’t much more; in a vacuum kami struck me as scummy, but the game flow around him really indicates to me that he’s not likely scum. Think about it: you’re scum, your buddy kami is taking heat from most of the thread, and no one seems willing to save him. Do you really sit by and just let him die without any sort of input or discussion? Just “meh” as he dies? No, I don’t think that’s likely.
As far as would I go out of my way to save a buddy, yeah, if I could do it believably. In a game like this I’d much rather ere on the powerwolf side, but if I was scum with kami here then sure, this line of play is something I’m capable of as scum.
I think Kami believed he was going to die and took a hero shot. If he is scum then Osie is probably is buddy frankly. It’s a heck of a distancing tactic. If we don’t get scum today and I’m not around tomorrow, that’s where I’d start frankly.
The first paragraph can easily be wifom, in that situation how do we know ur not the buddy thats protecting him? For all we know the fact that kami wasnt protected through interaction could just mean no one wanted to be linked.
I would have made sense if i protected him, which i was distacted at the time and still slowly catching up so lost track of time, but can't help but find it weird coming from you.
Shinichi's #164 starts with awful reasoning on Kami, then moves on to excuses, then really lame questioning based on not reading the thread. Uggh.
I really hope nobody saves this scummy-as-heck guy. And if DV does, I'm going to be doubly suspicious of that team possibility.
How is my reasoning awful smh, u realize u see people differently than i do. What I think is scummy you may not find scummy, but to go as far to say those reaasons are aweful just aint right.
I really dislike how ur pushes on me always rely on you making me seem like a crappy player -.-
And this is not a game one scum wants to have his buddy die first.
Thats a bold statement your making, and cant the reverse just be applied to you? Saying what you did before actually stopping the kill, that could easily make you scum protectng scum can it not?
Arent you the one thats would rather have 2 kills even if it risks both being town, so why of all people would you stop the kill?
Not really liking the slot too much, espically with his theory gaming and assuming how mafia will play the setup. Also his reliance on these percentiles, strikes me as him trying to interact with the player base.
Then you got post #52 , where hes just reacting in a cautious mindset, almost like he expected town to want to kill more?
#93 Makes me wonder why he asked his hypotehtical question if he had planned to just leave an opening by saying "probably" if he was town in my opinion the answer woulld be no.
77- The fact that he preposed a plan without looking into to see the cons of it, and the fact that he assumed there wasnt a NK seems off why would any assume a NK doesnt exist as town u would think you would always take into account the NK.
Just around the edges. You seem like you're being too cautious, and like you're trying to seem active over necessarily hunting.
Well the first part is true, cause i havent had alot of time since the game has started to actually play the game properly. So its hard for me to catch up and scum hunt at the same times.
I’m good with Kami and Osie being dead today I think. I’m kind of almost okay with someone saving Kami, but I feel like having his flip will be helpful in the long run so we don’t level ourselves tomorrow.
Hmm.
If I'm right:
Kami + Osie + (NK) = 3 townflips
That leaves 3 town to 2 scum. Both scum try to kill optimally, and have the nightkill. If town do 1 kill, and 2 deflects, then they have a 50/50 of killing town assuming they only deflect scum. Which sucks, especially since that's quite the assumption.
So can we try to actually kill at least one scum today instead (two if possible)?
WHy are u assuming kami is going to flip town? I rather wait to the flip before anything is decided.
U havent mentioned anything about ur reads on people but then post this list where i am at the bottom why?
Oh so you do have a pulse in regards to me.
It takes a while to form reads, as much as I would love to say I can always have a perfect readlist page 1.
I explained my reads though.
Also, here's another thing: Why are you questioning me in context of yourself? That looks super bad for you.
I questioned the reads itself and the read on me did i not? It just felt random with not much reasoning put in. Also what do u mean by the first sentence?
Would you press the button if it was 55/45 for a win?
I wouldn’t press the button regardless of the odds, it is no longer a game at that point but a die roll.
A lot of games involve die rolls.
@Kami: Do you think Osie is town? If no one saves you, do you plan to strike at someone?
Not going to answer the first part until osie answers me.
To the second, yes.
The point isnt the msot games involve dies rolls, town shouldnt be playing with Odds that arent in their favor or at the least tied with scum that risk aint worth it.
Feel like if your town the answer should be simple
@shadow. Assuming we hit one svum today and we are down to 5 tomorrow.
A new day removes an unconfirmed by the night kill and we end in 3 people LyLo. I'm not really sure what option is better as both have cons and advantages. I feel like town having more scalpels is better, but I'm not sure.
basically it’s the choice between town publicly choosing each kill or scum getting a second night kill to murder the most likely townie. Since in that scenario (one scum dead) we don’t need flips anyway, Letting scum have the free kill is sub optimal.
How would we know if a scum aligned player is the one that caused a town death? I can most certainly shoot any player in this setup since the odds of hitting scum compared to the odds of hitting town are little different. Would that make me scum if I hit town?

If we were to use our scalpels to hastly in that situation or choose wrong the game would easily be put in mafia favor.
@ Vezo
How much time do we have to deflect that kill?

Also what is jellyfishing?
Well when u put it out on the table like that -.-

So ya I aint liking Kami too much
Pick me \ o /
Well the first part is true, cause i havent had alot of time since the game has started to actually play the game properly. So its hard for me to catch up and scum hunt at the same times.

"Hi i am shinichi"
Level and consistent. Consistent is usually a town trait, its hard to fake that.
Hi i am shinichi
I questioned the reads itself and the read on me did i not? It just felt random with not much reasoning put in. Also what do u mean by the first sentence?
I dont think i had a question outside of asking for the timer i am forgetful
Actually in zero escape mafia u were very impulsive but that was also an intense game
How am i flailing?
Shadow has fooled me twice so shame on me it it happens a 3rd time,.
I feel like vezok is trying very hard to prove that 2+ kills is a good thingy, and honetly i dont like that
Explain the interaction then
