What's there to say? Good with JTMS or Sylvan Library?

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Good card, but if I see it on the opposing side of the table and I can't immediately remove the creature, I will remove the player instead!
Yes, but that's pretty much true of whatever the worst threat is. Things like War Tax help with that.

The main thing I can think of is Hunter's Insight, but you should have better means of looting.

It's cards like this that remind you how not often they print first strike aggressively.
There are so many playable ways to give First Strike to your whole team that Kwende is, IMO, super-dangerous in creature decks that happen to include cards like Odric, Lunarch Marshal, or any of the cards mentioned so far.
Odric would give them all double strike anyway tho, just because Kwende has double strike.

Yeah, but if you're running Fecundity, Skullclamp is still better.

It's trying to be a bad Skullclamp. The synergies (mana elves, tokens) and antagonisms (mostly anthems and a few graveyard hate cards like Rest in Peace) are still there, but it's a one-time effect, it only draws you one, and it costs you 4G to Skullclamp's 1.
It's still playable, but if you have Skullclamp, you can more than replenish your hand for five mana.

Edit: The only thing left I want to explore with this card is having it in a Mairsil, the Pretender deck. You can use it to play any creature or artifactpermanent that was exiled by the current iteration of Mairsil, and I think that's kind of neat, especially once you start involving cards like Eater of the Dead or Shauku, Endbringer. Or Withered Wretch. Really, it makes for some very weird interactions.
I'm pretty sure that's not true.
From the rulings on imprint:
Each permanent with an imprint ability also has an ability that refers to the "exiled card(s)." These two abilities are linked. The second ability refers only to cards exiled as a result of the imprint ability, not by any other ability.
Sorry, I thought that sort of thing worked at one point too.
One of the weird things about exile is, it's the only zone allowed to maintain a spirit link with the exiling card. Anyway, Mimic Vat is bonkers, as people say. First, it's a colorless Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker sort of at worst. (Even ignoring interactions when you start placing cards there in lieu of binning them just to avoid death triggers.) Now just fill your deck with borked entry and death triggers. (You need a sac outlet for the death triggers, but that's not hard.) Card draw and removal tend to be my favorites, though I have been tempted to include Rune-Scarred Demon. And what makes it worse? Doubling Season, Panharmonicon, Parallel Lives, Primal Vigor, Anointed Procession, populate...

Good with things like Generous Patron and things which use +1/+1 counters or "Creatures you control with +1/+1 counters on them have TEXT." or a few other Simic and Abzan cards. If you're in white, it's really outclassed by Meadowboon tho.

I'm not sure if I'd be thrilled or ashamed. Maybe if they can just not have human secondary sexual characteristics? That'd be great, thanks. Lookin' at you, kitsune diviner, ya weirdo.
I used to think this sort of perversity was just a male thing. Now I know better.
Anyway, Ink-Eyes has a nice ability. No evasion on her own, but she has ninjutsu. She's not as good as a commander as a result. (It's a problem for ninja.) You can use Rogue's Passage?

I thought this was a great cycle. I would appreciate if they did it again with the enemy colors.
Agreed, it would be nice to have more of these. I found the cost on this one made it the least playable though. 6 mana could have been good.
The logic is, I'm guessing, "If you're in green, you can afford to pay more; and if you're using it at all, you want your opponents to have a metric ***** ton of land."

Weird, just stuck this into a deck for the first time - sasaya, orochi ascendant.
Needing to die is significant. You'd better have big mana plus a sac outlet (in fairness my sasaya has no sac outlets, but it has biiiiig mana so someone will have to deal with it or die). And at that point you've made sorcery-speed sphinx's rev. I guess with added flexibility of being a big fat creature for a bit, but still. More of a casually-oriented card.
New hydra guy will love it though.
You can also use Doubling Season and friends. It's a sort of green Braingeyser, I guess. The way we have blue, black, and red versions of the card.

Ah, yes. Back in the era pre-CMD where the best single target removal was Rend Flesh, I found this card...
I played this card.
It hurt. Oh, did it ever hurt me.
Nowadays the prospect of paying four to single target remove is laughable. We're entitled, I guess. Spoiled by the stronger cards of today...
But it's reusable removal. That's its saving grace. The biggest advantage is there are a lot more creatures with lifelink and other "lifegain cards which actually do something" these days, so that 4 life feels less relevant when you're gaining 5 life or more each turn. (And of course, answering a threat is always better than keeping life since a proper threat will quickly deplete 4 life anyway.)

You could even just use very efficient first strikers like Porcelain Legionnaire and Baneslayer Angel.
