Megh today was a bad day. 0-2 drop on a local tournament. My first with shadow tho. First round vs ProTour player, on Coco with the new infi mana combo. Great games with on his side alot of Finks. I forgot a Bauble trigger and I guess I made some other misplays. 2-1 loss, but it was very close.
Round 2 vs Dredge. Game 1 he dredged the Scourged Devil and killed me.
Game 2 I had 2 inquisition 2 bauble 1 push 1 crypt 1 spellbomb. Never drew the second land. Completely wrecked the guy. No gy. He topdecks a looting, from there the nuts.
Had a good discussion about the Tarfires. Why would we keep playing them? Making Goyf 6/7 instead of 5/6 and the Delerium? A couple of good players thought mayby other spells where better. Next to that I ready dislike fulminator, why do we play them? Tron mostly, but there it is a time walk most of the times. I rather like a third Temur Battle Rage and Some other spells in the board. Your thoughts?
The board the semi pro plays: 3 souls 1 ranger 2 fulminator 1 ancient grudge 1 surgical 2 spellbomb 1 pulse 1 liliana the last hope 2 brutality 1 fatal push
He plays 1 terminate, 1 last hope and 1 Dismember main. 0 tarfire.
Thanks FlyingDelver. You can Pm me of you want, making some more sb guides soon. With the board of the semi pro. I guess it is a better board. Anger is so heavy on the mana base. But Spellbombs seem fine in many mu's to.
I am finding myself back to the Jund life again, after being away for some months. Played in those months some Grixis control, but that is not Jund and will never be Jund tho. I have bought the Death's Shadow part of Jund to, because I think this is the best Jund deck right now. I have been making some progress in building sb guides. I want to share mine with you guys. It is in the image down below.
