I would also imagine that triskelion is unplayable without some way of reloading it repeatedly. If it were to be downshifted, it needed to be a few to many years ago.
It actually was downshifted in the Italian/french Renaissance set.
Well I have a few lands to add to my wish to be downgraded now that Tempt with Discovery has been downshifted.
Grove of the Burnwillows - Probably too strong but I'd love to see this downshifted so I could make Punishing fires be the main win con of the lands decks that are almost there in terms of an archetype.
Hall of Oracles - I feel like this could be downshifted due to power and it would make for a cool add to most tempo decks which also being a minor downside due to only producing colorless mana without needing to filter.
The Biblioplex - The final card I think that could easily be downshifted as a land that would be a cool utility lane that mimics Library of Alexandria (which we can play but most don't due to power concerns) without said power concerns.
Mazes end and other mazes matter land cards gets a special mention as if they did downshift them it would be really cool I think in how it would play in the cubes.
Well It's Master's Season which means its also downgrades season. Anyone want to call your shots now that themes are released for the set about what they thin might get downgraded?
I started reviewing my list of card I'd love to see downshifted. Here are some of the card with no explanations as I realized I need to head to bed but will edit it tomorrow if I have time.
Maddening Imp would be a fun card to have. I don't think it would receive a ton of plan but paired with a few Pacifism effect it could be a solid engine.
one card that could be cool also would be Seraph. It would make a cool reanimator target and honestly is a super cool control card as a blocker no one wants to deal with.
King's Assassin I think is what we would want if royal assassin seems a bit too strong. making it be used on our turn before combat makes it seem more fair at our level of play.
I think Mutilate would be a super fun card to have in C/U. it would add a different take on sweepers and while it is more variable, it again has a higher ceiling which is always nice. Basically its a better card the longer the games god and while its not a great answer early, it shouldn't be considered as such in my eyes. I feel like it would have the best home in a G/B re-animator control style deck where it would be nuts with how much land ramp some cubes have.
Another card I wish was legal is: Royal Assassin. While it may be kinda meh it becomes a strong black control card.
I was flipping throught cards for the random card of the day and found this: Veiled Crocodile. While I feel it probably wouldn't be cubed it seems like it would be fun for a cube.
If you cant see a theme I want legendary creatures as finishers that would allow me to play karakas in the cube and be worth it.
I'd love one or two legends in each monocolor so karakas could be viable.
I wish I were less of a stickler for rarity and could Tinker for Triskelion. Really though, I just want a good target or two. Something like Pentavus or Sharding Sphinx would be nice.
Over the years we have had may cards reprinted in different rarities. From Scion of the Wild to Peregrine Drake there have been a wide variety of rarity shifts going down. Typically rarity shifts go upward in power but we get luck some times. I'm curious what are some rares you would want rareshifted that seem in the realm of possibility.
For me personally I'd love to see a Cockatrice or Shivan Dragon printed as an Uncommon. But I'm interested what you guys would want.

Same though. I have tried Tinker with Accomplished Automaton, Sandstone Oracle and its honestly decent enough especially with the new beaters coming in with the next set such as: Treasure Keeper
