Playing scum is significantly easier in a meta free environment, for what it's worth. My scum win rate when playing on my home site(s) is around 50%, my scum win rate when doing people favors/playing on random sites is like 80%. I think that's going to hold true for any vaguely competent player when there's no expectation on your play.
Just hope they don't ask you to link any games for meta analysis Vaimes!
I'm probably/possibly going to be playing in this this season representing DLP, maybe Thingy can put us in the same qualifying game! That surely won't end poorly for one of us at all if we roll scum.
If anyone is interested in participating, we have a cross-community thing going on with the org/civfanatics, showcasing the playing skills of each community.
It promises to have a pretty high-quality level of play. 3 days/1 day phases for Days and Nights.
We need a couple more competent players to represent MTGS in this.
Discussion was had about possibly streamlining some roles to make it more ambiguous, but I don't think anyone expected scum to win 6+ out of 8 at the start.
I think Az and Newcomb/NotVoxxicus played a reasonably good game, just there were an awful lot of town who did nothing to let themselves get town read.
By the end PoE was almost accurate, just one last (understandable) mislynch happened.
Unfortunate.

I thought we banished you off to the shadow realm?

The Wildcard game for the MU Championships concluded, and Newcomb/NotVoxxicus won the vote to advance from it to finals.

Az unfortunately didn't make it, but Newcomb/NotVoxxicus made the Wildcard game.
That's a known factor.

Especially when compared to Curse, which is.
The opposite of amazing.
