Is there any way to make use of the quotes tag without italicizing the post? for CCC(&G) it makes it difficult to differentiate the flavor/reminder text from the rest of the card, and we frequently make use of quotes for some of our games.
I guess I don't know exactly what you want but you could try the [box][/box] tag.
This is a box tag in use.

Hi! Do you know if cards from From the Vault: Annihilation work?
Example: I was trying to find the From the Vault: Annihilation artwork for Living Death using [c]Living Death|From the Vault: Annihilation[/c], but it won't work.
You have it right. Apparently the set is screwed up on the database in that most of the FTV Annihilation cards are missing. Our tech should hopefully be on it soon and hopefully it should be updated yet today.

[box=green]Hey, this is a box. [color=red]This text is red.[/color][/box]
Hey, this is a box. This text is red.
The best I can come up with changing text within a box. I dont know of a way to change the color of the box outline or the background color within the box. As you can see I tried changing the color of the box to green and its just kind of ignoring it.

How do you tag a card from a core set with a year? i.e. Lightning Bolt I've tried "M11," "Magic 2011," "Magic 2011(M11)," "Magic: the Gathering Core Set-2011" and "Magic: the Gathering- 2011." I've had the same problem with Scooze, and Grim Lavamancer (M12).
This is an admitted flaw with our current database system. You have to spell the set name exactly as it is in the card database. For example:
[card]Scavenging Ooze|Magic: The Gathering-Commander[/card] = Scavenging Ooze
(though you seem to be aware of this already)
Additionally, because of the name the new Core Sets have been given in the database (for example: "Magic 2011 (M11)"), you can't make the cardtags refer to those at all, as far as I know. In an optimal world, each set should have multiple different names that each will get you to the correct card. For example, for M11, the optimal thing would be to have Magic 2011, M11, etc, all be interchangeable. This is something we're looking into, and we've reported it to the owners as a desirable feature. We'd also like it to be possible to have the cardtags refer to a specific verion of a card, for example the Wolf version of Hymn to Tourach.
I was playing around with cardimg, and it doesn't seem to work with cards that have apostrophes.
Like .
Is there a fix?
EDIT : Ok, seems to be working here, but multiple examples (all of them with apostrophes) in this thread.
For what its worth, there are apparently multiple types of apostrophes and in specific if you type something up in word and copy and paste it in I believe there is an issue with that sort of appostorphe. Sorry about the delayed response but in general if you are just typing it I believe it usually works. Sometimes it doesn't work if you are copying and pasting in a post / primer.
I dont know if I quite follow on your C symbol to be honest. Can you elaborate on that?
[mana]xy[/mana] = xy?
When it comes to mana symbols if you add anything else inside the mana symbol it will goof things up. I assume with the X/Y you wanted the slash between them.
[mana]x[/mana]/[mana]y[/mana] = x/y

Yeah, I'm good with the whole [card=Plains|Invasion]Plains[/card] bit, but I was trying to specifically link to the John Avon one, and even though I figured out the card number in the Salvation DB, I couldn't figure out how to use that number to get the right one to display.
Edit - And I'm sure that the same issue would arise with Fallen Empires, Homelands, and Alliances cards.
I will see if our tech has anything more to help with this. To my knowledge their names would have to be different currently to link to them with the card tag. He might have something I don't know about though.

Hey Sene, I got a question about card tags. I want to link to a specific art of a card, but the card in question had multiple arts in the set. Is that doable? Or am I limited to "whichever Invasion Plains shows up first"?
[card=Akroma, Angel of Wrath|Legions]Akroma, Angel of Wrath[/card] = Akroma, Angel of Wrath
With the lands, I dont know 100% because generally speaking they are numbered within a set. I suppose you probably can still do it but the idea of like [card=Plains|Invasion]Plains[/card] = Plains is only going to get you a plains from the set so you probably need to play with it to get the exact number for the one you want.

Its the [url][/url] tag. You can see from my example that the link itself goes inside of the first url tag and what you want it to say between the tags.
