I'm one of 4 regular hosts of a weekly casual-centric Magic podcast known as The Mana Pool. We're the type of players who truly love the game (each of us has been playing for well over 10 years, and not very often on any "competitive" level), and most of all we love having fun with it. Our interests and passions have manifested in producing a regular podcast (and intermittent other content) primarily meant to entertain. There are a million other podcasts out there seeking to be "informative" or even "educational", but Magic is something we just inherently enjoy for it's own sake, and that's the kind of product we've been doing our best to create over the years. Let me tell you, it's very entertaining to work on, and a lot of other people seem to really enjoy what we're putting out there as well. We've even made quite a number of amazing new friends in the process, which has been awesome.
I'm not going to waste your time trying to recount the full scope of what we're up to, but the big-picture version of the story is that we've been doing this for about 7 years now, are still having an awesome time doing it, and have plans for even more cool stuff in the near and mid-future (by the time the far future comes around, our Robot Overlords will have outlawed fun, so there's not much of a point there). Head over to the website and check it all out!
I'm really not good at stuff like this, but I hope this post wasn't stupid and that it will help us reach out to even more potential friends and fans looking for some quality entertainment.
Thanks for reading!
