Since "God" is a new subtype, we don't know for sure. If it turns out only to be a creature type, then that is correct. But I'm guessing it'll be a subtype that can go on creatures and/or enchantments.
It could also be an enchantment subtype (only). The subtype rules are quite ugly around cards with multiple types.
