Just to capitulate with everyone else, you really, really want to avoid any religious connotation in your store name, even something as hidden as "OMG". Just trust me on this, you don't want to give your local churches reason to go off on a crusade; that demographic has the ability to make or break you, easily, and again, while I'd prefer to not get into it too much I cannot stress this enough. Gaming and religion seem to operate best at "ignore each other" levels, and this might be seen by a few zealots as an preemptive attack.
How about calling it "Local Gaming Store" or LGS for short?
That's actually really clever. I think I read a study once on archetypical-named stores like "The Shop" or "Book Distribution Center"; iirc the names had a higher chance of people remembering that they existed but the names made people hesitant to enter because, well, serious name is serious. Something like this with a high memory resonance amongst the demographic might circumvent the negatives while accentuating the positives in such a naming scheme.
Just gonna say from experience, it doesn't matter what you call it, there is bound to be percentage of the populace that's not going to get what you mean. I'm completely, deadly serious here, you could name it Nerd Games For Nerds with Magic the Gathering and other Nerd Stuff Hey All You Nerds Come in For Nerd Games and you'll still have people coming in asking you if you sell microwaves or Venetian blinds or whatever.
Edit cuz I thought of it too late: I had a friend who worked for a Dollar Store with a big sign in the window that said "Everything's a dollar!" According to her, she got asked about 50 times a day "how much is this?"
Misclick- I did not know that. I figured if the name was not trade marked that I could us it.
It's their intellectual property; if they can prove you used their name to make money, they can sue.
Greyling- At first I will be focusing on mostly Magic the gathering, Yugiho, hero clix, Maple Story, and WoW since them games seem to have a good following in my area. I also will be selling other basics like dice, play mats, sleeves, deck boxs, binders, etc. We plan on having a game room that cant fit up to at least 50 people. But also having to expaned if need be down the road if we start getting a bigger turn out to events.
I dont want anything like dragon's den or names like that.
The Game Room?
...ah, heck, I'm terrible with names, I think it'd be kind of kewl to call a store Neckbeard's.

Isn't there a very successful website company with that name? Or did they go out of business?
