Events took a turn for the worse after the drake attack. Though the creatures were no match for three mages, damage was still done to the ship. The voyage came to a halt as the drakes had crippled the mast of their ship leaving the captain with no way of completing the expedition.
Days passed by with all of the crew being haunted by shadowy nightmares beneath a faint blue crystal sky in their dreams. The ordeal proved too much for a few unlucky sailors as they threw themselves into the waters in an attempt to flee the terror plaguing their dreams.
Salvation came on the fifth day when lady luck favored the ship. A trade ship heading for Estark stopped to lend aid. A quick talk between captains and the passing of coins was enough to buy passage for the mages and rations for the rest of the crew.
As they drew further away from Terisiare's waters, the nightmares began to fade for all but one...
You can join the thread after the orb battle is finished. For now I am closing this quest. Due to fumbling on our side you each get 3 experience for compensation. Apologies for this. When the battle is done in the House Shimia quest thread, all of you will arrive in Estark's harbor.
As Evan and Deth part ways with Lelouch, leaving the third mage to rest, a ship hand approaches the two saying, "The captain requests your presence above!"
The sailor looks like he is about to vomit as well and cringes when Lelouch reaches out for support. He quickly makes an excuse to Evan and Deth saying, "Uh, like I said... I need to go report to the captain..."
He looks back at Lelouch and then the two mages saying, "So... I leave him in your care!"
With that the sailor took off running, looking for the captain.
Check the PM I sent to you. If you're going to be active and wish to continue then you will need to continue role playing your character as having a stomach virus that is making you puke, leaving your character dehydrated and bed ridden. Now that you're back you can play the toughen it up bit or bow out of the quest.
Deth and Evan quickly run into one of the sailors below decks. The man bows his head in respect keeping his eyes down saying, "Excuse me, sirs. Your friend appears to have fallen ill and does not appear to be in any shape to travel ashore to Terisiare. I was on my way to inform the captain when I ran into you two..."
It means we will be able to carry on the quest without his delays. He would be removed and you two would be left. His character may fall ill or any number of events could be conjured up to explain his removal.
The captain narrows her eyes at Evan saying, "We can only go as fast as the winds will carry us. Now leave my sight while I give the orders for our course. Gather your fellow mages in the mean time!"
She stepped past Evan slamming her door behind her and started barking out orders to the sailors.
The captain thinks for a moment before saying, "That sounds like the area south of the Colekgan Mountains, in between the ruins of two ancient cities..."
"The captain is likely your best bet. She should have updated charts from Benalia on this region..." replied the sailor gazing out at the approaching land.
The sailor in the crow's nest looks to Evan, fails to hide his discomfort around the ratkin and says, "Terisiare hasn't been an ice wasteland since the goddess Feryalise broke the Ice Age bringing Dominaria into the Thaw. There are rumors of residual magic causing winter like conditions in parts of the six isles that used to consist all of the old Terisiare continent though. I imagine those conditions are met along the northern isles closest to the arctic continent, probably around the mountains. The captain may be taken us that way, along the northern coasts that is."
Two more days passed as the group rotated through their watch coming ever closer to Terisiare. Evan could sense the shadow presence solidifying around him the closer they drew to their objective. Finally about midday the sailor who had told them the tales from the first night cried out, "Land Ho!"
The ship buzzed to life as all of the sailors began moving about preparing for a landing. In the distance a tropical beach could be seen sitting in the shadow of a massive mountain...

That's the captain's personal room that she slammed the door to, small nitpick.
