I don't appreciate that comment and I don't like being patronized. It'd be easier to just give an infraction to kpaca. I prefered not to, but I don't want that decision to backfire (I actually care about setting precedents), so I wanted everyone to understand that was a one time deal.
The reason I reposted is so that everyone sees the edit. if you check the timestamps, it was made several hours after the original post and I don't expect every user to re-read the entire thread looking for mod edits...
Kindly remove this rudely orange nonsense from our thread. It is a pain on the eyes and it's annoying to have to remove the tags every time I quote you.
Was going to PTQ in Fargo this weekend but that fell through. Loans are coming to be repaid which means I probs can't afford a trip to my college town for the weekend of the official closing of my favorite restaurant. Everything is awful.
I really don't enjoy most movies that fall into the genre of "horror". Saw in particular is something that I don't feel I need to watch because it doesn't explore anything that I feel needs exploring. I already know that I don't want to end up on the wrong side of a lunatic. I like movies like Silence of the Lambs because the acting/writing are superb, but Saw strikes me as straight gorror.
The Cabin in the Woods, on the other hand, was simply spectacular. I enjoyed absolutely everything about it.
Got savaged pretty hard at the Invitational. Standard is ever awful. While on super tilt I decided to join a draft open despite having never drafted Avacyn Restored. Ended up splitting the finals with Dave Shiels. Those draft opens sure are soft.
Evidently my callous attempts at humor were offensive to others on this website, and for that I feel I should apologize to my clan and my clanmates for bringing negative attention to the thread with my careless words.
I won't happen again.
It's ludicrous that that post was infracted. Sure, it wasn't funny, but it was hardly offensive. White people that are sensitive to words directed at white people have no idea how good we've got it and need to be told a thing or two. Of course, my opinion doesn't matter because I'm not a moderator.
As for my days....I bought a collection from a kid a couple days ago for $75. It had a lot of candy in it.
4x Niv Mizzet
2x Tops
2x Rhogahh of Kher Keep
Bribery
Vendilion Clique
Piracy
Transmute Artifact
and many many more goodies!
Yeah me!!
Wow... I had no idea Niv Mizzet was worth dollars. Elder is a hell of a format. He's not even good there! Nice buy.
Had my interview in Madison last Thursday-Friday. It was pretty intense. Nervously waiting to hear back.
Did some playtesting for the Invitational in Indy tonight. Not 100% on what to play in Standard. Probably playing Delver, need to iron out a list. I hate that it couldn't all just be Legacy.
See...I'm a Sun Drop guy. Back in the day when I was in college there was about a two span where this product was introduced and in a vending machine outside the local grocery store. The cans were only $0.25 ea as a trial type thing and we used to go and get a bunch and mix them with Absolute Citron. Then it disappeared, never to be seen again. Until...I starting going to North Carolina with my family. We (my wife and I who went to the same college) found it there, sitting on the shelves. Then it was a seasonal, vacation thing that we enjoyed when we went to the beach. Now it's everywhere....they even had a commercial for it. Some chick bumping her butt around the place...droppin' it like it's hot!
But I agree with the Livewire...that mess was the bomb. Soooo good! Orange freeze pops!
Now I have to find a second excuse to go to Winona (Chong's is enough to counter the fact that I would have to go to Winona).
Until most recently I had the disc golf course at St. Mary's, Chong's and whatever people that I knew from college that still lived there. Pretty much all of these things are going away slowly.
It's especially disappointing because the owner is a really good person who is skilled at his trade. It's really sad.
Does anyone miss Pepsi BLUE? That was the best drink EVER.
I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. Pepsi Blue and Mountain Dew Pitch Black were two sodas that I was very happy to see fail. They were both beyond foul. Pepsi Blue actually tasted like nail polish remover.
I just found out that the greatest restaurant on Earth, Chong's Noodle House in Winona, Minnesota, is closing down next month. This is the worst news ever and I couldn't be more upset. Chong has an appetizer which is just a chicken wing stuffed like an egg roll. Eating it is the closest to God I've ever been. There is no justice in this world.
Where North did you live? Because I can tell you, Minnesota has been having some very hot days. Though it's more the humidity that gets most people.
I'm working on my article right now. Decided to write about ways people can stop being so terrible at playing in feature matches. I was technically supposed to submit yesterday but my editor is pretty lax about me turning in my **** a day late.
Have an interview in Madison on Friday. Going down on Thursday night as they have a hotel room for me. They want me to give a 10 minute presentation on the topic of my choosing for the interview. It can be literally anything so long as it's something I believe myself to be knowledgeable about. I'm thinking about doing it on improv.

Thanks, bro. I hope your friends do well.

Those girls sound totes cool.
My article for the week is up. It's about how Hypergenesis is bad and people who play it should feel bad (kind of). http://www.quietspeculation.com/2012/06/show-me-something-new-why-hypergenesis-isnt-worth-writing-home-about/

Man, you are actually ancient.
Is your soap flavored like Mountain Dew and Vodka? Because that's what Baja Blast actually tastes like.
Delicious.

I don't think that "you're wrong, the shuffler works fine you just probably manaweave normally" would make for a very good article.
