Not too busy for Borderlands 2 though Speaking of which, how is it? I have been sorely tempted to get it.
Let's just say there's no better stress-reliever after a seriously long day at work than coming home to a game like Borderlands 2. They scratch completely different itches

If you're town and I'm mafia, you've already lost. You just don't know it yet.
I'm trying to improve my Mafia game, but it doesn't seem to be working too well.
Does anyone have any input that they would be willing to share?
Step 1. Play more games
Step 2. See step 1
There's not really much else to it. The only other advice I can give you is change up how you normally play. Are you normally reserved? Start posting a lot. Do you like to counter every point or post every thought? Force yourself to only post once a day. You may have just not found out what works best for you.

Pffft, you've seen nothing yet. I'm on the specialty list after all.
This game is perfectly normal.
EDIT
Right, CCC time...
NAME 3GR
Creature - Human Werewolf
Whenever this creature enters the battlefield or transforms into ~, destroy all lands on the battlefield.
At the beginning of each upkeep, if no spells were cast last turn, transform Afflicted Deserter.

Creature - Werewolf
Whenever ~ attacks, it gains +1/+1 for each land on the battlefield.
At the beginning of each upkeep, if a player cast two or more spells last turn, transform Howlpack of Estwald.

Hate to be a poo-pooer of ideas, but I'm not a huge fan of this. Destroy all lands at 5 is overpowerd and doesn't really fit flavorfully with the idea of a werewolf. Not only that, but once it's in play, if two spells are played in a turn, destroy all lands again. This card alone makes the game unfun and stalematey.

Tell me about System Shock 2, atlseal? (Also, why not the prequel?)
System Shock 2 is a hybrid FPS/RPG game that does scares the way that Dead Space should have. The horror is a lot more centered around suspense than 'boo' monsters like in Doom. Really good story. It is the spiritual predecessor to Bioshock and these guys 'get' atmosphere. I would happen to rate it pretty highly in my list of games.
As far as why not the prequel, it's just the advancements in design over the first. You have to keep in mind that this series is over a decade old.

Yes, but I'm very busy so I don't play that much. Have 1 30-something level thief. I haven't had time to play any in the past couple weeks.

Here's a fun one that I always enjoy variations of:
'What have you done that could be considered scummy this game?'

Ah, those systems bring back fond memories. I followed the same path.
As to your question, yes.
It's a pretty old PC game.

Oldie, but a goodie: System Shock 2
Almost done with Normal with my Wizard, Harry. Next up, Barb or Monk.
You rang? It's all about how you handle it.
