Tonight was Harry Potter night at the club I frequent. I dressed up as the 10th Doctor and told everyone I was Barty Crouch Jr. Disappointingly few people got the joke.
You should have seen the look on my face when I watched HP4 recently when I saw that David Tennant was BC Jr.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.

Iso: Assuming the Comedy Central Roasts are a good thing to go off of, a few of them are on Amazon Prime and presumably netflix. You can maybe watch those? Also youtube.

2 minutes ago and you jump on your phone to post here?
Love it!
Perdy much.
Some not so exiciting news: I've been diagnosed with Asthma as of Tuesday morning and was nearly Hospitalized because of it. As a result if this on-set I will now be going through a huge legal dispute that envolves my employer and the unsafe work conditions that they refuse to accomdate for.
I'm hoping all of the legal stuff won't too long, but if I am not on or seen for a while this is the reason why.
I had that when I was younger. It's a pain. That sucks dude.

You guys must have missed the part where I say PCs are too complicated for me :teach:.
I'm not even kidding. I've been on mac for twenty years. I've learned to use them before I learned to read.
Sometimes I go to a cybercafé to print stuff. It takes me at least ten minutes every time. Where is the flash drive I just plugged in? How do I access it? Wait, did I just eject it? Why does Windows ask me to download ten updates every time I click somewhere? Why can't this stupid PC be a mac? I would be long done by now.
Every time I use a PC I have to keep suspending my disbelief higher and higher. It's like reading a badly written story. Because my iHabits and my iComputer-sense are so ingrained in me.
Macs are a pain for me due to lack of using them. I'm used to Windows so it's easy to use. I have an iPod. That's all.
To be honest, I mostly use windows. But once (if) Steam and the associated games port to it, I'll consider fully switching.
Partition it? Half Windows, half Linux? Actually you only need enough Windows to use Steam. Technically.
That's really unusual. The interfaces are fairly different, and I can't exactly argue that Windows has a nicer or more intuitive UI. I'm sure you'd get used to it soon enough, if you really hate Macs enough to switch. It'd be cheaper for sure
Apple almost always has a better UI. That's part of the appeal of them. That and they do media really well.
Would Windows 8 be better for him? It's tablet UI would be more user friendly than the standard Windows 7 UI, I'd imagine.
These crazy Europeans man.
Thus proving that Americans are more sane than any other country ever.
Yup. That's how that works.

I also like Stormblind's.
Sorry for my absence, guys. Midterm project is kicking my ass.

A fair point I suppose.
My imaginary friend thinks you're wrong about that.
I saw it again the next day.
Yeaaaaaaaa dark skin!

Yeah I looked at that. Good stuffs.
I never have time to learn Linux. I want to. Seems better than Windows if you can get it down.
@ZDS: Just get a PC. PC>Mac.
Forum Gods: I pray you do not again afflict us with the plague of green. For I am a pious man. I do not deserve such punishment.
Edit: well it was back. That was a glorious half an hour.
*shakes fist* I used that for phone navigation...
