I've met "straight" guys like that. I knew a guy who exclusively had gay male friends. He was awesome and had a rad girlfriend, it he totally loved the gay male subculture and immersed himself in it. I flirted with him all the time because everyone was convinced he was gay. He set me up on a few dates, was a shoulder to cry on a couple times, and loved to gossip about our mutual friends. He's happily married now with two kids by the aforementioned girlfriend but he was a definite peculiarity.
Well there's a term in Sociology called "oreintalism". It emerged during the Post-Colonial theory days of Sociology. (If you are unfamiliar with Colonial theory, it's very hard to explain. But it occurred in much of the "western" Social Sciences and was a period where the colonizers were trying to explain the benefits of colonization to justify their actions. Think "white man's burden" and "Social Darwinism.")
Anyway...
"Orientalism" (at least in Sociology) is the process of talking about another group of people as if you somehow "understand" or are "above" that group of people. Basically, it's passing judgment on a group of people you are not part of. While Post-Colonial Theory (and Modernism and Postmodernism) is a relic of the past, Orientalism is still frowned upon quite heavily in the Sociological community. This of course led to Sociologists trying to figure out ways to discuss a culture or subculture somewhat foreign* to them. It radically changed the way sociologists intake and process data.
My comment was just me stating I didn't want to engage in Oreintalism. Do I feel as if I could adequately describe what being a furry is? Perhaps, but I don't think it would be a fair assessment at all.

@ WolfCub: I've never really put into any thought about it. It just is another subcommunity of people that I don't really associate with, and I hate making judgments on groups of people without thoroughly immersing myself in them. (It's the sociologist in me.)
@ Everyone Else: I expect to see Halloween costume pics!
I like to foil out my decks and their sideboards. Which can be exhausting when you try to do it mainly through trading rather than buying singles online. But I guess we all need a hobby.
I foil my commons, uncommons, and rares in my decklists. And I play online. (Don't make fun of me. Foils retain value better. )
I slipped on my way out of the shower and fell on my back. I'm sore as all hell. Luckily, I was able to grab the towel rack before I fell, so it broke my fall a bit before it snapped in half. At least I didn't hit my head.
Seconded.
If you need help, hit me up.
Working at Toys 'R' Us in a seasonal position. The said during the interview that they retain 50% of their seasonal workers. I'm super excited.
