Price check on a Chinese Sulfuric Vortex from Scourge? I can only find one, listed on CCGHouse at $3.58, which is less than the English version at $3.98.
I got a foil Avatar of Fury signed by rk post. I know some people consider signed cards to be worth less, but what would such a card be worth to a signature collector? There's a guy selling non-foiled signed Avatar of Fury for $5 but I don't know what the foil would be worth.
A guy in Singapore sold 5 of them on eBay for $4.25 each plus $3.00 shipping. One guy bought 4 and got a shipping discount, so in the end he only paid $1 shipping per card.
Not exactly a price question, but I tried finding more detailed information on this and came up blank. I'm looking for a article, page, etc with information about the 1st and 2nd printing english (i'm unsure if this happened for other languages) foils from AVR. The 1st printings look like FTV foils, and the later printing is normal. Anyone got a line on some more information?
No such page exists; WotC never really gave an explanation.
I just received a Near Mint Tithe where the back of the card is miscentered/miscut but the front of the card is not, something I have not seen before. Any thoughts on the value of this sort of misprint?
Hard to say if there are really only five that exist. Splendid Genesis and Fraternal Exaltation are worth $5000 or so at 110/220 copies each. These cards would be rarer than Proposal, although perhaps not as valuable even though they are foil. Is $10,000 out of the question?
If you're selling your collection as a whole, 75% of value is on the high end of what you should expect. The problem is that end-customers are those who pay the highest price, but they don't want all of your junk. So the people who would buy your entire collection are resellers, and they're looking to flip it for a profit. Start at 50%.
Cards in Moderately Played condition may have moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, inking, scratching or scuffing, creases or whitening, or any combination of mild examples of these defects.
You need to have major inking to have inking make a card HP, such as making a white-bordered card look black-bordered.

The most common printing variation is the quantity of black ink.
Edit: Also, how about Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) editions of Jace's Archivist and Visions of Beyond?
Umm, is the card actually upside-down relative to the back of the card, or is it just your picture?

If you search ebay sold listings for 7th foil Japanese you'll see more lands sold for around the same price.
So I'd say it's worth at least $4.25 plus $1-$2 shipping but you could probably hold out for $6 plus $1-$2 shipping.

Maybe you could ask MaRo for a follow-up.
Edit: Well, I just found out SCG has a card with exactly the same miscut, so I guess this was a common problem: http://sales.starcitygames.com/carddisplay.php?product=445817
Strangely, Tithe isn't in a Visions precon deck, so it must have been from the regular booster run.
If you're looking for a premium, yes, I agree with this.
Unfortunately the community of miscut buyers is small and there's no standard guide to their value.
