Counter target spell unless its controller sacrifices a creature. If that player does, put a 2/2 black Zombie creature token onto the battlefield.
I find it amusing that the people who commented on this disagreed. FortuitousEntitiy and CryoZentith both found it overcosted, while bravelion83 thought it was undercosted. It's interesting to see how people's thought process differs.
My original version of this card cost UB. I added one mana for submission to the DCC because I thought more people would think like bravelion83. In the future I'll keep it in mind to further push what I think is acceptable power level. If this were to see print in a Standard set, I fear it would almost certainly cost more than two mana.
The dash that I used is called an em dash (—), and it's the "proper" dash to use on the type line. I didn't copy and paste it, as Piar suggested. I typed it. The forum used to accept them, and you'll find them in my old posts. I became accustomed to using them. Bravelion83 pointed the way to the thread where you can request permission to use such characters if you're running into trouble with them.
About today's vote: as I'm probably one of the few to hate both un-cards and April's Fool, I'm just considering serious cards to vote, and as there are only three of them beside mine, I'll vote for the two of them I like the most and give the third a mention.
My card is a serious card. It just has a placeholder Un-flavor because it was the first thing I thought of that captured my idea for the mechanics. I hadn't even realized that everyone else would be posting un-cards for April Fool's day.
Exile target creature. Destroy all other creatures, then return the exiled card to the battlefield under its owner's control. "As the horde rallied toward me, I shut my eyes one last time. After a sudden silence, I opened them to an empty battlefield." - Houn, Jeskai Elder
I like this card, but it seems like a bit too much of an improvement on Duneblast in too many ways.
Twist and ShoutR
Choose one --
* Switch target creature's power and toughness until end of turn.
* Target creature gets +4/+0 until end of turn.
Entwine W or U
If you paid U to entwine this, do the second mode first.
Because of the way layers work, I don't think this does what you think it does.
Trained Pugilist :symwr::symwr:
Creature-Human Warrior Q: Trained Pugilist deals 1 damage to target attacking or blocking creature.
You should attach an additional cost to the q ability, because otherwise it generates infinite damage with anything that allows it to tap for no cost, and infinite mana or other things from whatever you're using to tap it.
Cloudcarved Mesa enters the battlefield tapped.
:symtap:: Add to your mana pool.
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control seven or more artifacts and/or enchantments, add WWW to your mana pool.
Do you mean this to be added during your precombat main phase, or is this for a set with upkeep costs?
