For Round 3 of the June CCL, can you elaborate a bit more on the Morph variant? Are we talking like Megamorph, where it still starts out as a face down 2/2 for , making it indistinguishable from a regular Morph card? Or more like Manifest, where the result is the same (face down card is a 2/2 colorless creature), but how you get there is different?
Or is either method acceptable?

Challenge: Create a spell with both flashback and one of the following mechanics introduced in the Commander series. Stay within the color identity of your Round 1 card.
join forces
tempting offer
lieutenant
experience
myriad
undaunted
I know there is a workaround in having the spell generate a token(s) that could use lieutenant, experience, or myriad, but would that really fall in line with the challenge of creating a card with flashback and one of the aforementioned ability words?

I'm all for giving RaikouRider until midnight tonight to submit an entry. We could then start crits and Top 3 tomorrow, due by the end of the day on Saturday the 8th of June. Any objections?

I'm surprised no one has pointed this out yet, but why are the Team Assignments for Crits the same for Round 3 of May as they were for Round 2? I don't see a point to submitting Crits or a Top 3 at this point, since it would be for the wrong team.

I just can't win this Round. One review says it's too weak because it'll usually hit a land on Turn 3. The other review says it's going to make opponents sad because it'll usually hit a land on Turn 3.
As continued proof of why we should probably abolish teams in CCL (or go down to two teams), only three people from Team Adventure posted cards. Again. This happens nearly every month with at least one team.

@Rithaniel: When the "sign ups" are also Round 1, those get judged. Sign up rounds that end before the month starts are the ones that arean't judged, and are usually called Round 0, if a round number is assigned.

@GMom: Perhaps instead of teams, each round players could choose their Top 5 from all participants? It could simplify the scoring to a high degree.
Post Top 5 = +1 point.
Review all entries = +2 points.
Each 5th place = +2 points.
Each 4th place = +3 points.
Each 3rd place = +5 points.
Each 2nd place = +7 points.
Each 1st place = +10 points.
One bad round wouldn't be as devastating (a reason some people drop after Round 1), as you could more easily recover in the next. At the end of 4-5 Rounds, a clear winner would still emerge, and without teams, scoring and reviews wouldn't be as unbalanced as they are at times when people decide to drop. I've lost count of the number of times I've been on a team with 3 people prior to Round 4 (just like this month).

Wow. So, no pressure to expedite the crits, then.
