During your upkeep, target opponent gains control of another creature you control of your choice. If you control no other creatures, you lose 5 life and target opponent gains control of Eric.
"Everything's gonna be fine? Nothing's fine. I don't know if you noticed this, but... everything's been getting worse... every second."
Next: Let's see how this works, I'm going to request a series of five. Each person that does one, do one of the other four remaining characters from the new Evil Dead, then suggest the next character to do. Once we have all five of them, the last person gets to do a commander based on the acrostic formed by the group's names. Let's continue with the one I probably should have done first (if we go by the acrostic): David.
Ol' Swampy here was a toughie, even though he's a swamp thing, he's absolutely mono-green to me. Making him brings to light one of the few issues I have with a core element of MtG: swamps are verdant places teeming with life,as much or more so than any forest, rather than the murky grimy places of death that they are depicted as in much of the game. Just an observation to think about.
Anyhoo, on to the card!
Swamp Thing GGGGGG
Legendary Creature - Plant Elemental
G: Regenerate target plant, fungus, saproling, or forest.
Other plants, fungi, saprolings, and forests you control gain forestwalk and swampwalk.
Whenever an opponent taps a nonbasic land for mana, you gain 1 life.
Next: an iconic DnD monster.
"hard"mode: NOT a dragon.
Artifacts and enchantments you cast cost 1 less to cast.
1(U/G)(U/G),T: Return target noncreature artifact or enchanment with converted mana cost 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield under your control.
“Omigosh! Is... Isn't that a treasure map?! You HAVE to tell me where you got that!”
Next: An outlaw, oathbreaker, or pariah, heroic or villainous, whose theme is tribal, but penalizes his tribe rather than benefiting it.
RWU,T: Destroy all enchantments you do not control.
,Q: Set equal rights back 50 years. Tell everyone it's because the states can handle things fairly. No one believes you.
Texas announced shortly after the decision that a voter identification law that had been blocked would go into effect immediately, and that redistricting maps there would no longer need federal approval.
-The New York Times
Next: A public figure, past or present, that could inspire the hope that this idiot has crushed out of me.
I guess you're guilt-tripping them? I 'unno. Anyways. More outside media stuff.
Wow, really? You're not into comics and now this? You're a terrible nerd.
Just for clarification:
Desmond Miles W
Legendary Creature - Human Plot Device
During your upkeep, exile all permanents and players play a MAGIC subgame, using their libraries as their decks. When the game is over reshuffle all cards into their owner's decks and return the permanents exiled with Desmond to play under their owners' control and resume play.
"But it's nothing except repeated iterations of the same game..."
Next: If we're going to do vidjo games, let's do something interesting. How about Earthbound.
