No, you have to fix it so only permanent cards can become copies of it.
It otherwise works as-is.
By the way, the spells would be Wit Filches, and they would create permanents named Wit Filch. What you eventually get is the same as the card that you played.
Darn. What I was aiming for was basically that the card became Wit Filch. (Meaning, it is only Wit Filch and not treated as any other card.) With the reveal clause removed, wouldn't instants and sorcerys technically still be allowed to become a different card, since their previous type shouldn't matter in any way, shape or form?
