Here's how it works.. someone makes balanced, plausible a card. One other person then makes a card of the same card type, supertype and color. Then people vote for a card, whichever card gets three votes first wins. The winner then creates a different card and we repeat. If the winner fails to create a card within 36 hours the loser may start the next challenge instead. If a card has not been posted after 48 hours anyone may begin the next challenge.
Wins are recorded in 'The Current Standings'. Losses are ignored, and do not subtract points.
Card Restrictions
1. Cannot have the same name as an existing card.
2. Cannot have the same name as a card on this thread.
3. Must be a valid spell type.
4. If the winner posts a card which violates these restrictions the card is ignored and the winner must edit their submission or post a new card. Challenges to illegal cards are ignored.
Illegal and Late Challenges
1. If a challenge does not meet either the general card restrictions or the color and type restrictions set by the winner it is ignored, and the ability to challenge remains open.
2. When a poster finds that their card is either illegal or late they must delete the post or add an ignore edit. Illegal challenges cannot be edited to become legal.
The Current Standings
Anyway I'll make the first card
Vengeful Power 3
Sorcery
Target opponent loses life equal to half your life total rounded down, then you take damage equal to half to target opponents new life total rounded down.
Somone once told me that to much power is a bad thing. I didn't understand until now.
