I'm mostly proud of predicting impulse draw on red, but with Skullknocker Ogre, "discard at random, then draw a card" came into Red's color pie, like my reversioned Tybalt's +1.
Annihilating Fire1RR
Instant
Annihilating Fire deals 3 damage to target creature or player. If a creature dealt damage this way would die this turn, exile it instead.
Exactly my card Heart of the Mountain, except I'm not that concerned that people might splash it:

I posted this design 7 months before Innistrad was released:
Dogged Missionary1W Creature - Human Nomad
Token creatures you control get +1/+1.
When Dogged Missionary dies, put a 1/1 white Spirit token with flying onto the battlefield. 2/1
And this guy predates Tree of Redemption by a lot, but it uses the mechanic as a drawback rather than a boon. This is my preferred design nowadays:
Tatter Twin2B Creature - Nightmare Reflection Tatter Twin is indestructible.
At the beginning of each end step, your life total becomes equal to Tatter Twin's power. 6/3
Oh, and don't get me started with red and looting.
I think the name is more of a play on "Animal" -> "Animar", but the abilities are certainly similar.
I made this several years ago as a cross between Withered Wretch and a Shade: Quiltwork Banshee2B Creature - Spirit (U) B: Exile target card from a graveyard. If that card is a creature card, put a +1/+1 counter on CARDNAME.
1/1
Wizards made a 2/2 Ooze for 1G with the same ability.
1. Wow, thats a pretty close one. Why didnt you make that a Zombie though? It feels like its eating corpses.
2. 100% sure its not "animal", its a play on "to animate (matter)" more likely.
Can I invite you guys to click my signature, go to Multicolored - Legends, and check Forshieg Manabound, then go and compare it with Animar, Soul of Elements?
I think they are tapping my lines.
PLUS: Fumar? Animar? That has got to be a shout out.
In any case, I am ecstatic to see it more leniently costed and more sturdy. I couldnt have thought of a better card to give a cool red legend.
Its pretty great they would actually give "ETB tapped" to red like I did - for flavor purposes. (Re: the Praetors seem to give a blessing and a curse which are completely opposed, just like Teferi did.)
Kiss the Flame
1R
Instant
This spell is colorless if you pay 2 more to play it.
Kiss the Flame deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
I actually came up with something like that when thinking Rakdos cards... the rare hybrid wasn't decided so I thought it could be:
Nameless Incarnation(B/R)(B/R)(B/R) Creature - Elemental Nameless Incarnation is colorless (even if it's not in play.)
Haste. RB: Damage cannot be prevented until the end of the turn. 3/3
I basically thought it would be fun to have a Black/Red creature able to overcome most of the problems a black/red deck would have.
I even got the name right!
I have been pushing for this card for aaaaaaages and I just want some acknowledgement.
Yamabushi's Flame's designer has a bone to pick with you.
Cough cough cough
Dogged Missionary 1W
Creature - Human Nomad
Token creatures you control get +1/+1.

2/1
It's neither Doomed Traveller nor Intangible Virtue, but it's in the same ballpark I think.

There's a couple of cards that I once thought and saw something alike, but I guess the freakiest one was Odds because it was exactly like that.
