4 Open the directory HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Magic Workstation.
In this folder, you find the "Active Theme".
5 Double click it and enter "New Magic" or "Old Magic" as value.
This is where it kinda falls apart. There is no "Active Theme" under that place in the registry.
I placed the new theme file into the Themes folder in the MWS home directory but part of the installation instructions actually instruct me to open MWS which, as I said, doesn't work. Is there something I'm missing?
Uninstall it, then use something like CC Cleaner to clean your registry
Did that too. CCleaner actually found lots of issues in my registry but I had it fix all of them. I reinstalled MWS but it still crashes on startup. *shrug*
I guess a ton of people have the same issue and it's just due to it not being nearly the best-coded program out there. Oh well.
Ugh, MWS decided to stop working JUST RECENTLY and I haven't been able to open either the main program or the online play since it crashes both on startup. I've uninstalled the program and everything related to it, including card images, and reinstalled only the core program but it still crashes on startup.
This has been happening for only two days and I dunno what happened. Heard it was buggy but never had a program simply stop working despite reinstallations before, after working for a good 2 weeks prior.

An unhandled win32 exception occurred in MWSPlay.exe [3776]
And asks me if I want to debug it. If I were an expert on this stuff I probably would
2GB memory and I'm running XP
Oddly enough, I downloaded the new v1.4 and MWS actually opens for me now....problem is, MWS Online Play still crashes. Any idea why this is?
Doesn't work either.
